gaming into a satisfying career as a game developer or game tester for development companies, Internet
service providers, and companies developing games for handheld and mobile devices. Career opportunities

You will graduate from this project-driven program with a well-rounded skill set that combines
mathematics, physics and visualization within the eld of computer programming with a strong emphasis
on coding. Access to our usability lab, where content creators can capture and assess the interaction
between user and design, will enrich your learning experience.

With a high degree of game-engine expertise, familiarity with 3D modelling, scripting and technical
direction, you will have the tools you need to compete and succeed in the rapidly expanding eld of game
development.

Admission Requirements
Applicants must meet all the requirements below in order to meet minimum program
eligibility. Meeting minimum eligibility requirements does not guarantee an o er of
admission. Admission decisions will be available via MyHumber, or by email and mail.
Admission decisions will not be released by phone.
Admission selection is based on the following 3 requirements:

1. ACADEMIC
To be eligible for admission, you must possess the following:
Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent including these required courses:
Grade 12 English (ENG4C or ENG4U or equivalent)

Grade 12 Mathematics (MAP4C, MCT4C, MDM4U, MCB4U, MGA4U, MCV4U or MHF4U or equivalent)

Two Grade 11 or Grade 12 C, M or U courses in addition to those listed above

Physics and/or computer science is recommended preparation for this program.

2. ENGLISH LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY


All applicants whose rst language is not English must meet Humber’s English Language Pro ciency Policy.

3. INTERNATIONAL CREDIT EVALUATION


Canadian citizens or permanent residents with international education are required to provide a WES or
ICAS evaluation.

Internet-enabled Personal Computer

Laptop Requirements

Upon admission, students are required to own or have guaranteed access to a laptop. The Game
Programming courses are designed such that the professor can jump from theoretical to practical aspects
of game development at any time during class. Therefore, students are expected to bring a laptop to every
class. Students are advised to choose a laptop that can handle the newest versions of Visual
Studio, Unity, Unreal, 3DS Max, OpenGL, and Android Studio. Professors will generally be using the
Microsoft Windows operating system in class.

Fees
The 2020-2021 fee for two semesters is:
domestic: $3,725.64

international: $15,874.00
