By the end of the lesson, the student:
➢ Uses adjectives (pretty, funny, young,
old, tall, short) to describe people.
➢ Introduces themselves and others using
the phrases “Nice to meet you” and
“I’m [name].”
➢ Uses the adjectives in full sentences in
both spoken and written form.
➢ Participates in group activities,
demonstrating understanding of the
vocabulary in context.

Methodology and activities:
Interactive Activities (pair work, group work, individual work), Blended Learning,
Communicative Language Teaching (CLT), Critical Thinking (Encouraging students to think
critically about the characteristics of people and how to describe them)
Organization of the lessom:
Presentation (20 minutes)
Warm-up: T greets the students and asks, “How are you today?”
T plays a short greeting and introduction game to activate prior knowledge of greetings
and prepare them for the lesson.: Students pair up and say, “Hi, I’m [Name]. Nice to meet
you. How are you?”
T introduces the new vocabulary using flashcards and the projector. T shows visuals of
people that match each adjective (e.g., a funny person, a tall person, etc.).
Then T asks the students to repeat each word.
T writes the words on the blackboard as T introduces them.
T plays the song “Who is it?”and have students listen for the adjectives in the song.
Ss discuss what they hear in pairs.
Practice (10 minutes)
Interactive Activity: Using the projector, T displays a few pictures of people, and Ss
work in pairs to describe them using the adjectives. T walks around and supports Ss.

Production (15 minutes)


Group Work: In small groups, Ss create a short dialogue where they introduce
themselves and describe their partner using the new adjectives (e.g., “This is my friend,
Sarah. She is tall and funny. Nice to meet you!”).

Assessment
T observes students’ participation during the activities and provides feedback on how
accurately and creatively they use the new vocabulary.

Assignment:
● Students write a short paragraph (4-5 sentences) describing a friend or family
member using the new adjectives. They should include at least three adjectives
(e.g., “My brother is tall and funny. He is young and has short hair.”).
