ASSIGNMENT OF DUTIES TO BATCH PLANT OPERATOR

I am charged with the duty of ensuring compliance with the requirements imposed under Construction
Regulation 18 of the Occupational Health & Safety Act 85 of 1993.

I hereby charge and assign you to assist me in the performance of my duties in terms and by authority of
Construction Regulation 18 of the Act’s definitions and regulations.

You are charged with reporting on the following issues:

 Report deviations to Insert Title – Immediately.


 Report incidents to Insert Title – Immediately.
 Work safely at all times and comply with the legal requirements.
 Comply with Section 14 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
 Inspect the batch plant daily using a checklist which will be provided to you and report any
issues.
 Protect the environment (water, ground, air) from pollution.
 Report spills and emissions to Insert Title – Immediately.
 Wear your PPE as you have been taught.
