Frequently Asked Questions

Are there any LIVE sessions with the institute faculty in this programme?
This programme is designed to provide flexible learning given the time constraints of working professionals and contains high-quality pre-recorded videos
with the globally renowned faculty from ISB. No LIVE sessions will be taken by ISB faculty.
What is the role of the Programme Leader? Are they institute faculty?
Programme Leaders are Industry Practitioners/ Subject Matter Experts who help with doubt-clearing sessions, cover specific topics deeper and share
real-world examples wherever needed. They are not the faculty of the institute.
Who grades/ gives inputs on the assignments and projects?
The assignments are graded either by the Programme Leader or the internal grading team.
Is there a qualifying mark/grade to get the final certification in this programme?
Yes, a minimum score of 70% in all required assignments including capstone to successfully complete the programme and receive a digital certificate of
completion.
What if I miss the assignments for a particular week? Can I attempt them later?
An assignment that is not submitted by the due date is late. Late assignments will be accepted until one week after the programme end date, which
is published on the programme homepage. Feedback will not be provided for late submissions.
Who is the faculty for the LIVE Masterclass/ Online sessions/ Doubt-clearing sessions?
Doubt-clearing sessions are carried out by the Programme Leaders, as they monitor individual student progress.
Do I get Alumni status of the institute on completion of this programme
This programme comes with ISB Executive Alumni Status, which includes access to resources, networking opportunities, discounts on programmes,
access to support team, exclusive event invitations, and the chance to be a guest speaker.

Will Emeritus/ Institute help with placement services?


This programme is designed with some of the best faculty and to cover relevant topics in a manner that creates positive career outcomes. However,
we do not offer any additional career/placement services with this programme.

What if I don’t find the programme appropriate for me after starting the sessions? Can I seek a refund?
We encourage our learners to complete the programme to fully understand the concepts and derive valuable learning outcomes. Should you still
feel the need to stop your learning journey, a refund request can be initiated before the programme commencement. However, after the programme
commences, the fee becomes non refundable.
What type of certificate will I receive?
Upon successful completion of the programme, you will receive a smart digital certificate. The smart digital certificate can be shared with friends,
family, schools, or potential employers. You can use it on your cover letter, resume, and/or display it on your LinkedIn profile. The digital certificate
will be sent approximately two weeks after the programme, once grading is complete.
How long will I have access to the learning materials?
You will have access to the online learning platform and all the videos and programme materials for 12 months following the programme start date.
Access to the learning platform is restricted to registered participants per the terms of agreement.

Rajendra Srivastava
Novartis Professor of Marketing Strategy and Innovation, ISB
Executive Director - Centre for Business Innovation (CBI), EFPM

Professor Rajendra Srivastava has over 30 years as an academic and administrator. Prior to
joining ISB Executive Education, he was the Provost and Deputy President of Academic
Affairs at Singapore Management University. Professor’s research interests include
Marketing Strategy, Marketing Metrics, and Brand/Customer Management. His current work
focuses on Business Model Innovations, especially in Services, B2B, Technology and
Emerging Markets. Professor Srivastava is best known globally, for the work on measuring
the impact of market-facing business processes, and the value of market-based assets.
Before the stint at SMU, the Professor has held distinguished research chairs and senior
management positions at the University of Texas at Austin and Emory University in Atlanta.

Anand Nandkumar
Associate Professor, Strategy, ISB

Associate Dean - Centre for Learning and Teaching Excellence

Professor Anand Nandkumar’s research primarily focusses on high-technology industries


such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and software, and it falls between industrial
organisation (IO), the economics of technological change, and strategy. Professor
Nandkumar graduated with a PhD in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon
University in 2008. Prior to his PhD, he worked for nearly three years with a Silicon Valley
startup and before that was in New York City with one of the world’s largest financial services
firms.
Ramakrishna Nidumolu
Professor, Organisational Behavior (Practice), ISB

Professor Ramakrishna Nidumolu has expertise in B-School professorship, Fortune 500 strategy
consulting, Clevel executive leadership, and business research. He has helped global corporations
unlock new opportunities for business growth by suggesting new models of business leadership,
digital transformation, and sustainable business innovation. Professor Nidumolu is recognised as a
thought leader and has authored influential Harvard Business Review articles, an acclaimed book
on business leadership, and other publications. He completed his PhD in Information Systems from
Anderson School of Management, UCLA.

Nandu Nandkishore
Adjunct Professor, Marketing and Strategy (Practice), ISB

Professor Nandkishore Doreswamy is a Global C-suite Executive with over 34 years of global
experience in leadership roles across a diverse set of environments in both emerging and
developed markets. He retired as CEO/ Executive Vice President for Nestlé in Asia, Oceania
& Africa. Professor’s key areas of expertise include turnaround situations, crisis management,
transformation of old-economy businesses through ‘Tech-based’ innovation, leadership and
coaching in the new ‘Tech-led’ and ‘Sharing Economy’, globalisation, and cross-cultural
operations. Professor Nandu Nandkishore completed his MBA from IIM Ahmedabad &
B.Tech from IIT Delhi. Some of his other accomplishments are: Four Hard Questions to Ask
About Your Company's Purpose - Harvard Business Review. He is one of the non-executive
directors for Delfi Limited Singapore and an advisory board member for Livinguard AG,
Switzerland.

Ashish Sinha
Visiting Professor and Senior Research Fellow, Marketing, ISB
CLMP Affiliation: University of Technology, Sydney

Professor Ashish Sinha has held senior leadership roles in both academia and industry. His
research work involves developing systems to help managers make better decisions and improve
consumer welfare. Before joining ISB Executive Education, Professor Sinha was the Associate
Dean (Research) and the de-facto co-Internal Dean at UTS Business School, Australia. He helped
the school become one of the top three business schools in Australia. Professor Sinha has a PhD
in Marketing Science from the University of Alberta.
Vijaya Bhaskar Marisetty
Visiting Faculty, Indian School of Business (ISB)
Dr. B R Ambedkar Chair Professor, Economics and
Social Sciences, IIM Vishakapatnam

Professor Marisetty worked as a Professor at the School of Management Studies, University of


Hyderabad, and previously held faculty positions at IIM Bangalore, RMIT University, and
Monash University, Australia. He holds a PhD from Monash University, Australia, and a Post
Doctoral Fellowship from Wharton Business School and the Indian School of Business. His
current research focuses on Fintech and its applications in democratising wealth distribution in
India, particularly for the bottom-of-the-pyramid population. He has received multiple research
grants from various Indian government bodies and has been recognised for his work with
several best paper awards and publications in A-star journals. In 2023, his citizen science pilot
project earned him a spot on the Top 100 Global Innovation Pioneers List at the G20 Digital
Alliance Summit. Prof. Marisetty also set up a Blockchain Lab at ISB with funding from S&P
Global to increase awareness of fintech innovation for social impact.

Himanshu Tambe

Professor, Organisation Design, Leadership and
Workforce Analytics

Professor Himanshu Tambe empowers individuals and organisations through continuous


education. He teaches at Singapore Management University (SMU) and the Indian School of
Business (ISB), focusing on Design of Business, Organisation Design, Leadership, and Workforce
Analytics. With over 30 years in consulting and industry, he has served more than 100
organisations across sectors like Public Sector, Metals & Mining, and Banking in India, Southeast
Asia, and Europe. Previously, he held senior roles at Accenture Strategy & Consulting and worked
with Arthur D Little. He holds an MBA from NUS Business School and a Mechanical Engineering
degree from Birla Institute of Technology.
Dr. Rohini Srivathsa

Chief Technology Officer, Microsoft India & South Asia

Dr. Rohini Srivathsa is the chief technology officer for Microsoft India and South Asia. In her role,
she is responsible for driving tech innovation and growth across industry and the government. She
began her career in R&D at AT&T Bell Laboratories and has published over 25 technical and
business papers. She has also worked at the Boston Consulting Group and IBM Global Business
Services in strategy consulting roles across emerging markets. Previously, Dr. Rohini served as the
chief technology officer of Janalakshmi Financial Services (now Jana Small Finance Bank), where
she was responsible for driving tech-driven business transformation for financial inclusion among
the urban underserved.

Orientation Week
The first week is orientation week. During this week, you will be
introduced to the other participants in the class from across the world,
and you will learn how to use the learning management system and
other learning tools provided.

Weekly Goals
As you begin the programme, meet your learning
goals set for the week. The goals would include
completing the assignments, which have weekly
deadlines.

Self-paced, Flexible Online Learning


Learn online via pre-recorded videos from renowned
ISB faculty in a high-impact, 20 weeks journey with a
learning commitment of 4-6 hours a week. Faculty will
not be a part of weekly live sessions or any other live
interaction in this programme.

Debrief Sessions
The programme features weekly live online sessions with
programme leaders who are available to help you clarify your
doubts pertaining to the content. Assignments are graded either
by programme leaders and/ or by the Emeritus grading team.
