The bearer of this letter Mr / Ms. RAJESH KUMAR (Desig.) HC of SEE Division/Railway,
whose specimen signature is appended below is directed to report at below mentioned Test
Venue to attend the Computer Based Test (CBT) for Selection under rule 72 for the post of
Assistant Sub Inspector.
1. All candidates shall be in uniform on the day of examination (20.12.2024) at Examination Venue.
2. Session details for Candidates is: -

3. No candidate will be allowed inside the test venue after the gate closing time as indicated above.
4. All the candidates shall report to the nominated local ASCs/Observer for their allotted examination
centre to receive the necessary instructions one day before the date of examination along with the
Admit Card-cum-Movement Order (To be downloaded from the Link) and Official photo ID Card.
5. All candidates shall go through the provisions of ASI Selection U/R 72 as mentioned in Railway
Boards guidelines before appearing in examination process. All the eligible candidates are also
informed that their candidature is provisional and is subjected to meeting the eligibility criteria as
mentioned in Railway Boards guidelines as mentioned in the subject notification and other extant
provisions and verification of records of the candidate.
6. Candidates are being informed that question paper shall consist of 100 questions and they are
supposed to attempt only 80 questions. The evaluation shall be done for the first 80 questions only.
There will be negative marking for wrong answers. For every wrong answer, 1/3rd mark shall be
deducted. No mark shall be awarded or deducted for questions not attempted.
7. Candidates whose admit card are downloaded without photograph and signature must affix one
passport size recent colour photograph (of size3.5 cmx4.5cm) in the space provided on Admit Card-
cum-Movement Order for photograph and signature. All photographs either uploaded or pasted on
the admit card must be invariably attested by the IPF in-charge / Controlling Authority with stamp,
for authentication of the candidate. Admit card-cum-Movement order shall be made available from
16.12.2024 for all the candidates. Candidates can download their Admit card using Examination Roll
No & Date of Birth (DDMMYYYY) as username and password from the link.
8. Candidate shall take two copies of Admit Card-cum-Movement Order and get them attested by
his/her IPF in-charge / Controlling Authority. Out of the two copies, one copy shall be retained by IPF
in-charge / Controlling Authority to be sent to their concerned Divisional in-charge for record
purpose and one copy of movement order to be provided to candidate to carry it in examination
venue.
9. Candidate shall ensure to sign the attendance sheet at the examination venue.
10. Restricted articles /electronic gadgets such as Mobile phones, pager, watches, Bluetooth enabled
devices, calculators etc. are NOT ALLOWED inside the Test Centre.
11. If any question either in English or Hindi or in Both is found to be incorrect, the guidelines of
Railway Board shall be considered.
12. Only Movement Order and Photo ID card in original will be allowed inside the test hall. Candidates
are discouraged to bring bags, study material or valuables at the examination venue.
13. Indulging in any type of malpractice/unfair means/misbehaviour/indiscipline in the Examination
Hall /impersonation will be dealt strictly as per the extant provisions. DAR proceeding may also be
initiated against the candidate.
14. Bio breaks are not permitted during test session.
15. All candidates shall comply with the instructions issued by the RPF observer, Supervisor, Invigilator
etc at the venue. Non compliance of instruction may lead to disqualification & removal from
examination venue.
16. Candidates are advised to locate their test centre and its accessibility at least a day before the test
so that they can reach the centre on time on the day of the test.
17. The Candidate can view the Question Paper in English and Hindi languages. In case of any dispute in
Question content in any language, the English version of that specific Question will prevail.
18. Candidate should write his/her Name and Roll Number on the Rough sheet(s) provided for rough
work. The Rough sheet(s) will have to be returned after the test.
