To Whom It May Concern,

It is with great pleasure that I recommend Tien for admission to your school. My name is
Huynh Phuong Anh, and I am the Head of Japanese Studies at the University of Social
Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. I had
the opportunity to teach Tien, who stood out as an exceptional student. I would rank her
among the top ten students I have ever taught in terms of her proficiency in Japanese
language studies and her strong moral character.

Tien is an exceptionally intelligent student with excellent receptive skills. On a personal

level, she is disciplined, hardworking, and has a pleasant personality. She consistently
exceeded the course requirements, both in the quantity and quality of her projects,
dedicating extra time to research and attending additional class hours each week.
Throughout the course, Tien displayed remarkable perseverance and initiative. She was
not only eager and motivated to learn the material, but she also worked diligently to
integrate it into her own experiences and develop her own ideas on every topic related
to Japan that we discussed. In 2023, Tien was recognized by the Faculty for her
outstanding performance in five morals: moral courage, academic achievements,
physical fitness, voluntary participation, and integration competence. Besides, Tien is
also an active student in extracurricular activities. Tien is a member of the Faculty
Student Association - an organization that organizes extracurricular volunteer activities
such as the Mid-Autumn Festival of Love and March volunteering. In addition, Tien took
part in cultural exchange initiatives, hosting study groups from Tokyo University,
Ritsumeikan University, and Meiji University. I evaluate Tien as an energetic and
positive student.

Moreover, Tien possesses excellent communication skills. She demonstrated a high

level of proficiency in applying course materials to analyze complex situations. Her
explanations were always concise, well-supported, and persuasive, Tien also exhibited
strong teamwork skills during group assignments. Her overall intelligence was clearly
reflected in her grades, which were the highest in the class. She has shown the
perseverance, initiative, and intellectual creativity necessary to excel in an advanced
course. Therefore, I highly recommend Tien. If her performance in my class is any
indication, she would be an outstanding candidate for your school. In addition, Tien took
an active position in the scientific study project "The role of Minamoto Yoshitsune in
Japanese history" that was undertaken by students with the highest score in the
Faculty. Based on my assessment, Tien possesses the capacity for in-depth problem
analysis, a strong desire to learn, and a profound passion for Japanese history. If Tien
has the chance to study overseas, I think it will introduce her to Japanese research
subjects and help her in her future academic endeavors.

Please feel free to contact me if you need any further information or assistance. (You
may reach out in English or Japanese.)

Best regards,
Huynh Phuong Anh
