System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is the overall process of developing information systems
through a multi-step process from investigation of initial requirements through analysis, design,
implementation and maintenance. SDLC is also known as information systems development or
application development. SDLC is a systems approach to problem solving and is made up of
several phases, each comprised of multiple steps. It describes the stages a system passes
through from inception until it is discarded or replaced.
A system development life cycle is similar to a project life cycle. In fact, in many cases, SDLC is
considered a phased project model that defines the organizational, personnel, policy, and
budgeting constraints of a large scale systems project. The term “project” implies that there is a
beginning and an end to the cycle and the methods inherent in a systems development life
cycle strategy provide clear, distinct, and defined phases of work in the elements of planning,
designing, testing, deploying, and maintaining information systems.

ABSTRACT
No matter how independent we are, we will always be depending on technology. This may
include various electrical devices. Such as computer, television, microwave oven, washing
machine, clothes dryer, gas fireplace, refrigerator, vacuum cleaner, laptop, mobile phone, tab,
fan, air conditioner, electrical water purifier, blender etc.
This devices are too much important in our day to day life .And without this devices we cann’t
perform our any single work completely done. Actually in recent times Electric Devices are
being more important then anything.so think that,, if this devices are got wicked ,no workings
will be done completely & easily.In our country,
#every day estimated as 27,000(ten thousand) devices are got damaged in the city area of
BANGLADESH .And this damages may be the huse lose for the Bangladesh Development as well
as Sustainable Development goal(SDG) .
#Among those ,15000 device are computer & mobile which are performing a lot of operation
for the developing our country.so the damage of these device are the damage of our country
gradually.
A sudden default or malfunction can make those electrical devices unable to work. To make
them work again we need to fix them as soon as possible. For this the devices needed to be
taken to service center or we need to call service men to come to our house to fix those
devices. But sometimes it becomes difficult for us to find service men or service center.
In order to solve this problem, we are thinking of creating a system named “SARAO” that will
help the customer to fix their devices in short,cheep & trusty.
“With the help of this system, we are trying to bring professionalism, good service and trust
to the repair service and maintenance in short time & little cost & in case of home delivery. To
provide customer with repair service experience, this system become trusty place & their
best-handy-friend.”
Need Assessment
This system is totally developed on need-basis that is, problems and opportunities arises and
render system development necessary. Suppose one can not repair or maintenance due to
physical constraints, time, tools or other reasons in that case we can help you with our
software as information provider.
Throughout our life time, we require some form of maintenance and repair, including
minor upgrades and major renovation. We are also creating this system for that
software in order to give information about repairing and maintenance services. In a
perfect world things wouldn’t break down. Until then, it’s our mission to respond with
urgency, expertise and professionalism to minimize the length and frequency of
downtime. Everyday we face various fixing problem. Suddenly one of our home devices
isn’t working then what to do?? For that we need to repair that devices. But how to do
it. We can not do it ourselves , we require expertise to do so.
When any of our electronic device become wicked it takes so much time to find
electrician for repairing the device. That is a great problem.
We don’t get skilled electrician all the time to fix damage device.
The cost of repairing damaged device is not fixed. Sometimes its so high and
sometime it’s low. But it creates problem the customer.
Customers can not choose electrician for repairing devices independently. They
have to call local shop electrician from their area which service is not
satisfactory.
When its about fixing a brand electronic device , customers don’t get
satisfactory service from the brand electronic device shop. Sometimes these
type of shop become fraud. They keep large amount of money instead of giving
proper service to customer.
Those electrical devices like refrigerators are big in size, they are also heavy.
It also needed time to take those devices to servicing center. Suppose one of
our television isn’t working properly then we take it to services center to repair
them. Again after some time, like 5 year it faces problem, we want to take it for
servicing center but when we reach that place they change their shop address
and for that we are going to face difficulty to find that address.
Often we face lack of information such as where can we take it for repairing

area thus solving their problem this way ( connecting customer with local services is thr
motive of this project ) is the object of this software system.
There are few websites which are working as repair and maintenance services online.
But not many people Know about them. On the other hand they are operating in
county’s main cities via service center and supplying professional service men who are
professioned in specific device only as shows in some computer & smartphone.

They give services to limited level. Not all people can get their services. Because many
are not familiar with them. Even in our own area how much repair and maintenance
shop we don’t know of them.
System requirements
This system will work as information giving & service giving system because it will
provide repairing services with necessary requirements in short time & trusty and give
them home delivery If necessery. This way they will get value for their money spend.
Feasibility study
A feasibility study determines whether the project is likely to succeed in the first place.
It is typically conducted before any steps are taken to move forward with a project,
including planning. It is one of the—if not the—most important factors in determining
whether the project can move forward. The study identifies the market for the project
(if applicable); highlights key goals for the project based on market research; maps out
potential roadblocks and offers alternative solutions; and factors in time, budget, legal
and manpower requirements to determine whether the project is not only possible but
advantageous for us to undertake.
Preliminary analysis: Before moving forward with the time-intensive process of a feasibility
study, we will conduct a preliminary analysis. The preliminary analysis aims to uncover
insurmountable obstacles that would render a feasibility study useless. As we can see that in
need of repairing service when we search in google that’s what it shows us. There is no
aggregate or accurate information. So it becomes difficult for us find the information we are
reaching for.
Market research: No project is undertaken in a vacuum. The conducting feasibility study will
delve into the existing competitive landscape and determine whether it has a viable place for
the project within that market. We can say that it has. Until now many website has been
created but it give service to people by suppling technician and professionalism from their

service via contacting with them though on online. But just like I said before not people know
about them. The work of our is to combine all that types of website which exist in our country
also local areas workshop address and about their workshop information into a software
program so that people can easily find out when they are needed.

Design
The design phase is concerned with the physical construction of the system. Included are
the design or configuration of the network (hardware, operating system, programming,
etc.), design of user interfaces (forms, reports, etc.), design of system interfaces (for
communication with other systems), and security issues. It is important that the proposed
