Travel Intro / Show - HELP FILE

Terms used in this help file:

Alt-replace = Select the layer and hold down Alt while dragging the new source footage from the Project panel into the
Composition or Timeline panel.

Hide & Unhide = Hit the eye icon next to the layer to enable or to switch it off.

Two projects are included in this item:

Logo project. (You replace the logo with yours) & Show project. (Keep the logo's
design and change the texts in it)

Please open the project you need & follow the next steps:

Step1
If you liked the music in the preview, you can purchase it here:
http://audiojungle.net/item/autumn-leaves-ident-1/91561

Import the audio in After effects. In the project panel double-click the composition "01_
DROP audio "Autumn leaves" in here" and drag & drop the audio inside it. (The audio will
be automatically edited to its duration)
Author of audio changed the track name to "Fashion Logo" but it is the same music.
If you are planning to use another audio, don't drop it in there. Drop it to the main
composition.

Step2
In project panel open composition named: “02_ DROP YOUR LOGO IN HERE”. Double-
click to open.

-(For the Logo project version) Alt-replace the envato logo with yours. Position your logo to
the bottom of the screen.
-(For the Show project version) Double-click text layer to edit texts. But, you can hide texts
and alt-replace the logo with yours if you want. But remember to position your logo to the
bottom of the screen.

Step 3.
In the project panel, double-click composition: “03_ MAIN COMPOSITION 1920X1080”
to open. For your convenience, hit the Draft 3d switch to enable it. So you can work quicker.

Also work with Adaptive resolution,

because openGL cards gives very different results than the rendered final project.
Double-click the text layer to edit text, or hide it, if you don't need it.

Move the text to center it if needed.

In this composition there are some options:

Select the bright floor Layer, hit F3 and choose an alternate floor in the effects panel.

Or if you have a white logo, you can choose to Unhide the "Alternate Blue floor" Layer.
Add or remove an airplane & (or) a cruising ship by clicking the eye icon of the
correspondent layers

Tip: If your hardware is slow, you can also Hide the light layer, so no shadows will be
rendered.

Hit the Draft 3d switch to disable it.

Step 4.
You are ready to render!

Add the main composition to the render queue. Choose an output module and hit it to open
the settings panel.

If you have audio, remember to enable the audio output checkbox on.

The project is Full HD Resolution but you can stretch it to less resolution through the
Output Module Settings, but always keep the lock aspect ratio checkbox on.
The Show project has a Lower third composition that you may need for your show!

Double click composition to open & then double click text layer to edit.
