a. 24 Hz

Period (T) = 1 / Frequency = 1 / 24 = 0.0417 seconds

b. 8 MHz

T = 1 / 8,000,000 = 0.000000125 seconds (or 125 ns)

c. 140 KHz

T = 1 / 140,000 = 0.00000714 seconds (or 7.14 µs)

Q2. Given the following periods, Predict the corresponding frequencies.

a. 5 s

Frequency (f) = 1 / Period = 1 / 5 = 0.2 Hz

b. 12 s

f = 1 / 12 = 0.0833 Hz

c. 220 ns

f = 1 / 0.00000022 = 4.545 MHz

Q3. What is the phase shift for the following?

- A sine wave with the maximum amplitude at time zero: 0 degrees

c. How long does it take to send a file of 100,000 characters?
