Prototype Phase -

Instructor Dashboard for E-Learning Systems using Machine Learning

Problem Statement
This prototype phase is a continuation of your project in which you will need to work on data
pre-processing. You will need to perform the following steps: -
1. Download the dataset Open University Learning Analytics dataset.
2. Create a Student Assessment csv file that contains the following fields: -
 Student_id
 Highest_education
 Age_band
 Number_of_previous_attempts
 Region
 Disability
 Code_module
 Assessment_score
 Student_sum_click
 Student_final_result (OUTPUT variable)
3. Populate the data from the dataset in student assessment csv file.
4. After copying the data, then performs the following tasks on student assessment csv file.
 Handling Missing Values
 Removing Duplicates
 Handling Outliers
 Normalization/Standardization
 Feature Selection

After completion of the prototype phase, submit your work in compressed form on VU LMS
before the due date.

Tools:
You are free to use MS Excel or Python or any tool, provided that all the functional
requirements of the prototype phase are met properly.
