RULES ON ELIGIBILITY
The following are eligible to participate in the CON Knights E-Sports (ML) Screening:
A. All bonafide undergraduate students of Bulacan State University
B. Students whose names appear on their college/campus/official list of entry
C. Participation of athletes who represented the university in any higher level of sports
competition such as SCUAA are limited to the events, including events with the same nature,
which they have not played at the said competition. (i.e., Baseball and Softball, Football and
Futsal, Volleyball and Beach Volleyball, etc.)
D. Freshman athlete is allowed to participate in the CON Knights E-Sports (ML) Screening
provided that he/she has no record of participation in higher competition such as SCUAA.
E. Students who have no record of representation in a higher meet: 1. SCUAA, LASUC, PASUC
and the like; 2. National; 3. Regional one year prior to this intramural are qualified to participate
in the event where he used to be a varsity member.
Game Mechanics
1. Single round robin will be applied in all events. If there are six (6) to eleven teams (11)
teams, they will be divided into two (2) brackets and top two (2) teams each bracket will
advance to the cross over semi-finals. If there are twelve (12) to eighteen (18) teams, there
will be four (4) brackets and top 2 teams each bracket shall qualify for the quarter finals then
winners shall proceed to the semifinals.
Format:
The tournament format shall be announced depending on the number of teams participating
in the Event. The format below will be used if at least 18 teams per category participate in
the event.
Eliminations - the teams who register for the event shall be playing in a Best of 2 single-
elimination bracket until 8 teams remain.
Quarter Finals - only the Top 8 teams will qualify for the Playoffs, as a double-elimination
bracket is to be used for the quarter finals. The following bracket shall be the bracket to be used
for the quarter finals.
Elimination: Best of 2
Quarter Finals: Best of 3
Grand Finals Best of 3
2. If there are only two (2) entries, best of three (3) will be applied.
3. No team name/official list of names, no play.
4. Trash talking is strictly prohibited. As a proud representative of a respectable academic
institution, we highly condemns the toxic culture in the esports environment. When a player is
found guilty of trash talking another player, will be given one penalty point, 3 penalty points will
be considered disqualified.
5. Three (3) pauses per team only, three (3) minutes maximum per pause.
6. Check ping will be done before the official game. If the majority of the players’ MS are okay,
the official game will then start, even if there are some players who are lagging. In case the
players’ MS drops during the official game, the rules for pausing the game shall be followed.
7. Strictly no latecomers. A team not appearing in the playing area fifteen (15) minutes after the
last call shall lose by default.
In-Game Rules
1. All picks and bans will be handled exclusively in-game. Usage of third-party softwares for
picks and bans are strictly prohibited.

3. The mobile application to be used is Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (Developer: Moonton)
4. First team to destroy the opposing base wins the game.
Code of Conduct
1. Teams and players are expected to be on their best attitude and behavior during the
competition. They are to act properly and observe proper etiquette when communicating
to their opponents, marshals or league operations. Disrespect towards opponents,
marshals or league operations may result in disqualification. Some forms of disrespectful
behavior include the following:
Disrespect towards league operations and/or marshals in any forms of
communication, be it either on thread or even on voice channels via
Discord, or even on-site during LAN setup.
Any unsportsmanlike behavior such as ‘throwing the game’ benefit other
players, as it can affect the integrity of the tournament.
Exploiting bugs that may be used to the advantage of the team is also
prohibited and is grounds for sanction.
Any player who is found to be piloting shall subject the team to
disqualification. Piloting is defined as the act of having someone play your
account on your behalf.
Rule Changes
All changes in this ruleset may be changed from time to time, to ensure fair play and the
competitive integrity of the tournament.
DEFAULT TIME
A team not appearing in the playing area fifteen (15) minutes after the last call shall lose by
default.
