Source of wastewater
The main source of industrial effluent will be generated from process,
utilities and washing. Entire effluent will be treated in ETP followed by RO.
RO permeate will be reused and RO reject will be evaporated by MEE to
achieve zero liquid discharge. Domestic wastewater will be disposed
through soak pit.
Source and disposal of Hazardous wastes
There will be five types of hazardous waste generation i.e. ETP sludge,
Salt of MEE will be disposed off at TSDF site, Organic Residue and
Distillation residue will be disposed off at approved CHWIF, used oil will
be sell to registered re-processors, discarded containers/liners Sell to
Authorized Recycler and used catalyst will be send back to supplier for
regeneration.
Detail of hazardous waste is given below:

8. FUNDS FOR POLLUTION CONTROL MEASURES
The management is quite conscious of its responsibility for maintaining
clear environment adequate funds can be provided for the pollution
control measures as financing part of overall project. Necessary provision
for Environmental management system is in practice.
9. MONITORING FACILITIES
Air sampling will be done by outside agency and will be part of practice in
future projects.
10. CONCLUSION
On the basis of information presented in the pre-feasibility report on
pollution control measures and after its implementation, there will be no
discharge of effluent and air emission from the plant beyond the norms
specified by the Board as per the provisions of Air (Prevention and Control
of Pollution) Act, 1981 and Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution).
