Car Accident in Sudirman
On August 15, 2023, at approximately 2:30 PM, a car accident occurred on
Sudirman Road, Central Jakarta. The accident involved two vehicles: a
black sedan and a cargo truck.
According to eyewitnesses, the sedan was speeding from the north. While
attempting to overtake another vehicle, the sedan's driver lost control and
crashed into the rear of the truck, which was in the same lane. The strong
impact caused the front of the sedan to be heavily damaged, and the driver
sustained serious injuries.
Police officers arrived at the scene to evacuate the area and manage the
traffic that had been temporarily disrupted due to the accident. Meanwhile,
medical personnel rushed the sedan's driver to the nearest hospital for
treatment. There were no fatalities in this incident, but the sedan driver
was injured, while the truck driver was unharmed.
