A/ Make a table of summary statistics for continuous variables.

Solution:
*Because “qid” miss some of the data, so we don’t include it in the table, we only use the data
from “income”, “age_wife”, “age_husband”, “hhsize”, “children, expense”

-Step: Data -> Data Analysis -> Descriptive Statistics -> Choose the Input Range for the
categorical variable-> Tick Summary statistics -> Repeat the process for the remaining
categorical variables.

-Chose the column (“occupation_husband”/”occupation_wife”) -> Insert -> Pivot Table -> OK -
>Drag the categorical variable (“occupation_husband”/”occupation_wife”) into the “Rows” and
“Value” area -> Repeat the process for the remain categorical variable.
