Principle of operation

Battery Setup
•Open the battery compartment on the bottom of the scale and insert the batteries,
ensuring they are aligned with the correct orientation of the battery tabs.

•If "Lo" appears on the screen, replace the batteries promptly. If the scale won't be
used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent corrosion from
potential leakage.

Automatic shutdown
•The product will automatically shut down after 10 seconds if left idle.
•If the maximum range is exceeded, the display will show "Err", and the device will
turn off automatically after 5 seconds.
•Additionally, the product will automatically shut down if a fat measurement error
occurs.
•Place the product on a hard, flat surface avoid carpets or other soft surfaces as
these can lead to inaccurate measurements.
•Clear the zero before each measurement.
•Zeroing method: step lightly on the scale surface and then step off the scale, the
number on the screen will automatically return to 0.0KG.

•Step on the scale with Bare feet and minimal clothing for accurate results and
readings, Do not wear socks while standing on the scale.
•If you step on the scale with shoes or socks on, only your weight and BMI will be
measured and displayed on the app's home page. To access full data, step on the
scale barefoot. After your weight is locked in, you can view all body composition
details in the cult connect app.
•Once your weight is locked, the scale will begin measuring your heart rate. The heart
icon will flash while the scale is weighing and analysing. Remain standing on the
scale until the process is complete and your phone has received all the data.

1. To download the "cult connect app” on an iOS or Android device, navigate to the
App Store or Google Play Store and search for "cult connect app". Once you find the
app, select it, and proceed with the installation.
2. Additionally, you can scan the QR code, and it will direct you to the download page
for the "cult connect app". Follow the instructions to complete the download and
installation process.
App Set-up
Before pairing, make sure that your smartphone and smart scale are next to each
other.
1. On your smartphone, download the cult connect app from the Play Store or the App
Store and install it.
2. Create an account or log in using an existing account.
3.Turn on Bluetooth and the location on your mobile device.
4.Allow the app to access all requested permissions to enable its full range of
features.
Note: Ensure that your smartphone is running on Android 9.0 & + or iOS 11 and is
connected to mobile data or a Wi-Fi network

4. Choose "Cult Smart Scale" from the list of detected devices, and the scale
will take a few seconds to connect to your phone.

7. After entering all the details during your first use of the scale, the app will
prompt you to step on the scale to measure all the key parameters of your
body.
8. Step on the scale and allow the scale to measure all your parameters, this
process will take a couple of seconds to complete.

10. Users can monitor trends in their body parameters if they've logged multiple
measurements over time. By clicking on "Show All Metrics", they can see all
recorded metrics, and they can access their historical data by choosing the
"Show All Past Measurements" option.

13. Following each measurement, the user receives an extensive report on the
Cult Connect app, which offers a thorough analysis of all the measured
parameters. This detailed report not only breaks down each aspect of the
user's health data but also includes insights and trends. Additionally, the
report is shareable, making it easy for users to share their health and
fitness progress with healthcare professionals, family, or friends.
14. The Cult Smart Scale enables users to add up to 10 profiles by clicking on
the plus icon in the top right corner, allowing them to maintain records of
their loved ones. This feature makes it easy to monitor and track the
health and fitness of the entire family using a single Cult Smart Scale.

15. By clicking on the settings page of the app, users can adjust the settings
for both the device and the app.

16. Cult Smartwatch users have the ability to seamlessly switch between the
weighing scale and the smartwatch by clicking on the watch icon located
in the top right corner while on the weighing scale page. Doing so will take
them to the smartwatch home page, where all the key details and features
of the smartwatch are displayed. Likewise, if they wish to switch back to
the weighing scale, they can simply click on the scale icon in the top right
corner of the home page, instantly returning to the weighing scale
interface.

1. Weight- Weight is the body’s mass, typically measured in kilograms or pounds, and
is a key health indicator, best evaluated alongside height, body shape, and body fat
percentage.
2. BMI- BMI, or Body Mass Index, is a calculation that uses height and weight to
estimate body fat and assess health risks.
3. BMR- Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) is the energy your body needs to maintain basic
functions at rest, like breathing and circulation. It's the number of calories you'd burn
if you were inactive all day.
4. Fat ratio- The fat ratio, often referred to as body fat percentage, is the proportion of
fat in your body compared to your total body weight. It indicates how much of your
body is made up of fat tissue.
5. Fat mass- Fat mass is the total weight of fat in your body, measured in pounds or
kilograms. It differs from lean body mass, which includes muscles, bones, and
organs. Knowing your fat mass helps assess your overall health and fitness.
6. Muscle mass- Muscle mass is the total weight of your muscles, including skeletal,
smooth, and cardiac muscles. It affects strength, metabolism, and overall physical
function.
7. Muscle ratio- Muscle ratio typically refers to the percentage of muscle mass in
relation to total body weight. It helps gauge overall muscle health and fitness levels.
8. Visceral fat- Visceral fat is the fat stored around internal organs like the liver and
intestines. It is linked to higher health risks, including heart disease and diabetes.
9. Bone mass- Bone mass is the total weight of your bones in the body. It reflects bone
density and strength, which are important for overall skeletal health.
10. Heart rate- Heart rate is the number of times your heart beats per minute. It
indicates your cardiovascular health and can vary with activity level and overall
fitness.
11. Protein ratio- Protein ratio refers to the proportion of protein in your diet or body
composition relative to other macronutrients. It helps assess dietary balance and
muscle maintenance.
12. Water ratio- Water ratio refers to the proportion of water in your body relative to
your total body weight. It is crucial for hydration, bodily functions, and overall health.
13. Subcutaneous fat ratio- Subcutaneous fat ratio is the proportion of fat stored
directly under the skin compared to total body fat. It impacts body shape and overall
health, influencing metabolic and cardiovascular risk.
14. Skeletal muscle ratio- Skeletal muscle ratio is the proportion of muscle mass in
relation to total body weight. It helps assess muscle development and overall
strength.

20. Standard weight- Standard weight refers to the ideal body weight range for a

22. Body type- Body type refers to the classification of an individual's physique based
on characteristics like bone structure, muscle mass, and fat distribution. Common
types include ectomorph, mesomorph, and endomorph.
23. Body age- Body age is an estimate of how old your body feels based on factors like
fitness level, muscle mass, and overall health. It can differ from your chronological
age and reflect your physical condition.
24. Health evaluation- Health evaluation is a comprehensive assessment of an
individual's overall health, including physical exams, tests, and lifestyle factors. It
helps identify risks and guide improvements for better well-being.
25. Health score- A health score is a numerical value or rating that reflects an
individual's overall health status based on various factors such as fitness, nutrition,
and medical history. It helps assess and track health progress.
1. To ensure the accuracy of the measurement, please try to measure at the same time,
under the same conditions, and avoid measuring under the following conditions:
• After strenuous exercise.
• After a bath or sauna.
• After eating or drinking.
• After drinking a lot of water or alcohol.
• In the midst of a cold or fever.

2. The following is the recommended measurement period, keep the same time and
conditions every day.
3. Measurements should be taken barefoot, with feet positioned apart, keeping the
body straight, and wearing minimal clothing if possible.
4. Since individuals under the age of 18 are in a period of rapid growth, the data should
be used for reference only.
5. For patients on dialysis, those with swelling symptoms, and elderly individuals over
80 years of age, the body fat percentage may differ from that of the general
population. Therefore, it is recommended to use the measured values as a reference
only.
Troubleshooting guide
•The scale and smart phone must both have Bluetooth on.
•Check the OS version of your smartphone; it must be Android 9.0 & + or iOS 11 or
higher.

•The body parameter setting is incorrect, check to make sure that you enter the
correct gender, height, and age.
•Step on the scale to turn it on. Let it automatically drop to 0.0kg/lb to calibrate.
•Remove the batteries and put it back. Make sure to insert the batteries in the correct
direction.
•The scale has a button on the back side of the scale that allows the user to change
units from KG to lbs
Battery Advice
•If the scale is not to be used for long periods, It’s recommended to
remove the battery to avoid damage to the scale due to possible
battery leakage.
•Keep the battery out of reach of children.
•Do not mix old and new batteries, with different compositions or of
different brands in order to prevent possible leakage, explosion.
•Do not heat or deform the batteries or explore to fire.

1. The Warranty period starts on the date the product is delivered to an end-user for the
first time, as evidenced by the original proof of purchase.
3. For the Warranty to be claimed, the product and its accessories shall be used by the
instructions provided in the product manual (which comes along with the product) or
any other information that may be available online on our website.
•No repair or replacement will renew or extend the original Warranty period unless
such renewal or extension is mandated by applicable laws, in which case the
Warranty period is extended by the minimum time required by applicable laws.
•Where the product, accessory (or any parts of a product or accessory) have been
replaced, the original product, parts, or accessories that were found to be defective
shall be retained by Us.
•We shall not be liable for any loss of data stored on the product (if any data is
collected). It is advisable to always back up all data, programs, applications, and
content stored on your product before handing over your product for
repair/replacement.

•Any issues or damage due to exposure to liquid or dampness (unless the product is
declared to be water-resistant under certain conditions as specified by Us), damage
caused by exposure to extreme electromagnetic field (such as damages caused by
microwave oven), or extreme thermal or environmental conditions or to rapid
changes in such conditions, corrosion, oxidation, spillage of food or liquid, or
influence from chemical products;
•Impacting the product or any part of the product including but not limited to the
cover, display, and buttons (unless specified otherwise by Us under certain
conditions);
•Using your product with, or connecting it to, any product, accessory, software, or
service not manufactured, authorized, or supplied by Us or chargers, power
adaptors, stabilizers, or data cables that do not meet the required technical and
safety specifications;
•Any third-party products sold in combination with your product;
•Damage or errors caused by hacking, cracking, viruses, or other malware, or by
unauthorized access to services, accounts, computer systems, or networks;
•Power outages or surges capable of affecting the normal use of the product;
•Other acts beyond Our reasonable control;
•Any wear and tear (including any degradation or peeling of the color of any product);
•Use of your product in a manner that does not comply with its intended use and the
provisions of the product manual or as specified on our website;
•If your product has been opened, repaired, or modified by non-authorized third
parties, or repaired using unauthorized spare parts;
•If you have not installed the latest software updates that are publicly available for
your product within a reasonable time of their release; and/or

•To the extent permitted by applicable law(s), We shall not under any circumstances
be liable, either expressly or impliedly, for any (i) damages or losses of any kind
whatsoever resulting from or relating to corruption of, content or data or the
recreation or transfer thereof even if such loss, damage, or corruption was a result of
a defect in your product or accessory; and/or (ii) loss of life, injury, and/or (iii) loss of
profit, use, productivity, business, contracts, revenues or anticipated savings,
increased costs or expenses;

and/or (iv) for any indirect, consequential or special loss or damage. Our liability
under any circumstances whatsoever shall be limited to the return/repair/replacement
of the product.
•We do not warrant that the software preinstalled on the product (or subsequent
updates) will meet your requirements, work in combination with any hardware or
software not provided by Us, and be uninterrupted or error-free.
•In the event of the expiry of this Warranty / non-coverage under the warranty
guidelines, We reserve the right to charge you (in the manner decided by Us) for the
repair /replacement upon ascertainment of the defect in your product or accessory.
8. This Warranty may be updated from time to time at the discretion of Cult.sport or as
required under applicable laws. In case of any queries or for registering a complaint,
