Lab No. 02: Modeling and Simulation of a Direct Current DC Machine
-The DC Machine (DCM) in matrix form:
𝑼𝒇 𝑹𝒇 𝟎 𝑰𝒇 𝑳𝒇 𝟎 𝒅 𝑰𝒇 𝟎 𝟎 𝑰𝒇
[ ]=[ ][ ] + [ ] + [ ] + 𝒘 [𝑴 𝟎] [𝑰𝒂 ]
𝑼𝒂 𝟎 𝑹𝒂 𝑰𝒂 𝟎 𝑳𝒂 𝒅𝒕 𝑰𝒂 𝒇𝒅

[𝑼] = [𝑹][𝑰] + [𝑳][𝑰̇] + 𝒘[𝑨][𝑰]

-Implement the simulation of the DCM in Matlab Simulink:
-Mensuration of speed, torque, flux, and current:

Speed torque

Flux current
-speed results, assuming Ua=150V for the time period t=[0-2]s and Ua=200V for the time
period t=[2-4]s:

Note: we notice an increase in the acceleration rate at the moment t=2s

-the results, assuming Ua=150V for the time period t=[0-2]s and Ua=200V for the time period
t=[2-4]s:

Torque Speed

Note: we notice an increase in both speed and torque at the moment t=2s (step).As for
𝑰𝒂 and ∅𝒂 we notice an increase at the moment t=2s while 𝑰𝒇 and ∅𝒇 they remain constat.
-Assuming a resisting torque TL=0 Nm for the time period t=[0-2]s and TL=4 Nm for the time
period t=[2-4]s. we notice a decrease in speed at the moment t=2
