4. Effective Communication Skills.
In order for communication to be effective and clear, far from
misunderstanding between the two parties, there are some skills that the
individual needs to acquire or develop in himself.
1.Listening and Attention
It is not only by listening, paying attention and understanding what is being
said, but also by understanding the feelings and intentions that the other party
is trying to convey, and this is done by focusing completely on the conversation,
without being distracted by anything else, such as the phone, or thinking about
other things, which makes the other party comfortable in this communication,
and enhances and strengthens the relationships between the parties to the
conversation.
2. Focus on non-verbal cues
That is, focusing on body language, which is hand movement, facial
expressions, tone of voice, gestures, and breathing. Body language is one of the
most important things that can negatively or positively affect the dialogue.
There are some movements that a person can follow to enhance
communication through body language, such as having the arms open while
maintaining eye contact with the other party.

3. Stress Management
Communication is never effective when a person is stressed, and stress often
leads to people saying things they may regret later. It is very important to
control stress or any negative feelings that a person may feel. There are some
skills that can be applied to relieve stress, such as counting down from ten to
zero, breathing calmly, or any act that relieves the soul.
4. Self-confidence and Positive
Self-confidence helps in effective communication with others, as it makes a
person confident in himself, his thoughts and opinions, and it also makes him
able to listen and respect the other party no matter how different his opinion
is, so the goal of communication is to understand the other party, not impose
an opinion on him, or belittle him.
Positive: It is a group of, such as; friendliness, kindness, honesty, trust between
the parties to the communication, and that the person is in a sporting spirit,
and a smiling face not a frown, and it is possible to enhance these qualities by
reminding oneself of the positives of the parties to the communication, and
enhancing self-confidence.

distracts the focus of the parties to the communication, controlling the voice,
and paying attention to the tone of voice as well.

following the following tips:

Notice the other party's non-verbal communication methods.
1.Learn the basics of nonverbal communication
To improve this skill, you must pay attention to it first and observe your actions
and ways of interacting with others.
This is done by paying attention to yourself and the other party as well. You
can improve it by following the following tips:

gives an impression of confidence.

help you discover weaknesses that you find difficult to notice yourself, which
helps you develop yourself.
3. Developing Improvisational Speaking Skills
You can develop this skill by preparing the main points and topics that you will
8
talk about without resorting to memorization. This gives you flexibility and the
ability to communicate depending on the situation, which contributes to
attracting the attention of the other party.
4. Controlling Emotions
A person must control his emotions and feelings and know how to manage
them in front of others, then express them in a decent and appropriate manner
without resorting to conflict and fanaticism that lead to poor communication.
5. Make sure to earn the respect of others
Some people may resort to communicating through humor and avoiding
seriousness, and although this may gain you friends easily, people who
communicate seriously and professionally are the ones who gain the respect of
others and are successful in their communication with others.

including:

6. Conclusion.
At the end of this article, our research on communication is complete with all
its elements and parts. The importance of effective communication with others
and its many benefits has been focused on in detail, and traditional and
modern methods of communication have been reviewed. With a
comprehensive presentation of constructive and positive communication skills
with others. In this era, the biggest misunderstanding lies in the assumption
that insight will interest individuals who are not enthusiastic about change. But
the truth is that communication does not depend only on the sentence
structure or rhetoric, but must be built on the emotional context that the
message conveys. Individuals can only listen to you when they are directed
towards you, and they are unlikely to listen when your words haunt them.
Situations are what express the personalities of individuals, and when people
speak, we must listen deeply. If we do not listen, the meaning of
communication is lost in an illusion that leads to nothing tangible. From the
above, it is clear to us that a person cannot live without establishing
communicative relationships with others, as social nature is an essential part of
our existence. Today we have reviewed together the importance of
communication skills, its types, its development, and some appropriate
conclusions for the topic.
