Q.1 (a) Briefly describe KVL and KCL. 03


(b) Derive current, voltage, power and energy equations of two terminal 04
elements Resistor, Inductor and Capacitor.
(c) Determine the current through the resistors using mesh analysis for the 07
network shown in figure 1.

(b) Briefly describe Millman’s theorem. 04
(c) Explain ideal, practical and dependent voltage and current sources with all 07
necessary diagrams.

(c) In the network of fig.2, determine the numerical value of i2 using source 07
transformation method.

(c) In the network shown in figure 3, a steady state is reached with switch k 07
open. At t=0, switch is closed. For the element values given, Determine the
