AA = Associate in Arts
Admission to NCC requires a state-endorsed high school diploma or HSE/TASC (formerly GED
AS = Associate in Science
certificate). Diplomas such as I.E.P. and annotated diplomas, school leaving certificates, and certificates
of attendance are not valid for admission to the College. Additional program requirements are listed AAS = Associate in Applied Science
below. ALL supporting materials must be RECEIVED by the Office of Admissions by the deadlines Cert. = Certificate Program
specified. It is the responsibility of the student to ensure that all documentation has been received. AOS = Associate of Occupational Studies

of 12 credits in courses required for the program, including ENG 101, AHS 131, CHE 131 and a MAT
elective, within the last 5 years. Chances of admission are increased for applicants who have completed
MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNICIAN some or many of the courses that are part of the program. Transfer applicants must be in good academic

Students with an Associate degree must meet the minimum general education requirements set by the
PARALEGAL STUDIES LAW2 Cert. American Bar Association. The certificate can be completed online in a combination of synchronous
and asynchronous formats; however, a student must complete a minimum of 9 credits in the
synchronous (remote) format.
