How to send net msg via cmd

(IPv4 adress and username of target server required.)

Use the following command:

msg USERNAME /SERVER:SERVERNAME "your message"

IMPORTANT NOTES:

Replace "USERNAME" with the username of the target server.

Replace "SERVERNAME" with the IPv4 adress of the target server.

The command also works in Windows PowerShell

HOW TO GAIN ACCESS TO IPv4 ADRESS OF TARGET SERVER IN THREE STEPS:


(not possible from your own server, must open target server in person.)

Step 1. open cmd on target server

Step 2. enter the following command:

ipconfig

Step 3. scroll down to IPv4
