1.0 INTRODUCTION
Car rental services are businesses that allow customers to rent cars for short periods,
ranging from a few hours to several weeks. These services provide a variety of vehicles, from
economy cars to luxury vehicles, SUVs, and even trucks, depending on customer needs. Car
rentals are commonly used by travelers who do not wish to use public transportation or bring
their own vehicles to a different city or country. Its mission is to serve every individuals who
wish to rent variety of cars. It works like; (1) Booking-Customers can book a rental car through
a rental company’s website, mobile app, phone call, or even in person at a rental location. The
moment the clients books, they can choose what type of car they want as well as the rental
duration. (2) Payment- some rental services are very strict when it comes to payment. They
implement the “Payment First Policy” before the turned over of the vehicle. (3) Fuel- Return
the rental with the fuel level at the same level as when it was initially rented. (4) Washing- the
unit must be return with washing.
Business Plan:
Entrepreneurship: Rianah Car Rental provides a seamless car rental experience through a user-
friendly app, offering a group of cars ranging from economy models to luxury cars. The service
targets both urban and rural residents, tourists, and business traveler individuals seeking short-
term car rental options.
Entrepreneur: They must be (1) Visionary- so they can recognize the growing demand of the
transportation services. (2) Innovative- Find creative ways to offer unique solutions. (3) Risk-
taker─ invests in a group of vehicles to support a rental business.
A Business Enterprise: Rianah Car Rental offers a daily, weekly, or monthly rental options with
flexible pricing. Providing corporate group management services to businesses needing cars for
employees or events. Delivering cars directly to the customer’s location.
1.2 THE TYPE OF BUSINESS PROPOSED
“RIANAH CAR RENTAL SERVICES”, a car rental services. Allow clients to rent variety of
cars for short periods. It is common to travelers who do not wish to use public transportation or
bring their own vehicles to a different city or country.
1.4 SITE/LOCATION
The business would be at the proper garage of the said Car Rental located at Borromeo Compound
(beside Rainbow Beach) Pooc, Talisay City.
MISSION: To provide affordable, reliable, and convenient car rental services for tourists, local residents, and
businesses, while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction and sustainability.
VISION: To be the leading car rental service provider in the region, known for our exceptional customer
service, eco-friendly vehicle options, and competitive pricing
CHAPTER TWO
Maintenance of a car rental includes regular check up of (1) fluids like coolant,
transmission fluid, etc. (2) Tire Pressure- tires must be properly inflated. (3) Air Filter-
checking the engine air filters regulary, filter out the dirt, silica, and other particles. (4)
Battery Terminals- ensuring that the battery terminals remain free from corrosion. (5)
Lastly, maintaining the cleanliness and sanitization of each vehicle for more relaxed
usage.
For the business “Rianah Car Rental”, for the ownership, it will be co-owned by two
entrepreneurs, one with experience in the transportation industry and the other with
expertise in sustainability. For the Tax Flexibility, profits are taxed on the owners’ tax
returns, avoiding double taxation. Lastly for the management, owners are allowed to
directly manage the company or hire managers.
Marketing Strategy:
1. Defining your target audience: Identify the groups of people that is most likely to
rent vehicles from you and understanding their needs.
2. Digital Marketing Tactics: leveraging online channels to reach and engage your
target audience effectively.
3. Local Marketing: targeting potential customers within a specific geographical area,
ensuring your services are visible and relevant to local needs, most importantly you
can partner with some local business such as travel agencies and many more.
The establishment of Rianah Car Rental comes from the urge to give a very safe, comfortable,
and reliable ride for the travelers who wish to rent cars for their travel journey along the cities or
provinces. Before the company was established, there were only a limited options for the travelers
especially for the tourists, most of the people relied on taxis, jeepney, busses, and even tricycle or
motorcycle (habal-habal) to reach their destinations.
We come up with an idea of car rentals business due to high demands by the tourists and locals
who wish to rent a cars for short-term. Peak seasons begins on vacations such as summer vacations or
any holidays, so the demands for our cars is at its highest. This period is essential for generating
significant revenue and providing services to a large volume of customers.
The demand for our car rental service is strong, with peak periods during tourist seasons and
steady demand from local residents and business professionals year-round. We anticipate that these
periods of high demand will continue to drive significant business growth, and we are positioned to
meet the needs of our customers effectively during these times.
