Pure Storage Training Process

TRAINING ACCESS:
Training is available on the Pure Storage Partner Academy website.

To register and obtain login credentials follow process in Pure Partner Academy – FE Login

Access and credential issues can be resolved as per the process provided.
CURRICULUM:
All Field Engineers will need to complete the Field Engineer Training: Service Providers
curriculum as a baseline. Only FE’s tasked to support Dark Sites will need to complete the
Implementation Engineer Level Training course list. Please specify when requesting adding
FE’s to training whether they also need to support IE Level.
Expectation to complete the curriculum is 14 hrs for FE Level Training (Standard Sites) and 22
additional hrs for IE Level Training (Dark Sites)

FAILED ASSESSMENT:
If a Field Engineer fails an assessment twice they will be unable to attempt for a third time
due to a mandatory 30 day reset. In this scenario please escalate via the Teams Group
established detailing the FE name and the course so that a manual reset can be initiated by
Pure Storage.
TIMELINE:
Completion target dates required based on rollout phase for each country:
 Pilot: 31st July
 Phase 1: 31st August
 Phase 2: 30th Sept
 Phase 3: 31st Oct
TRAINING PROGRESS:
All nominated trainees will be tracked via the Pure Storage DWS Resource List.
Pure Storage will be sending training completion data regularly so that progress can be tracked
by Country Leads to ensure compliance to the Timelines communicated.
