PARAGRAPH 1:
c) One of the most serious problems facing most big cities is traffic congestion.
b) Traffic congestion is caused by the thousands of cars that come into the cities
from the suburban areas as well as by the thousands of cars within the city limits.
d) This mammoth problem must be resolved before it get worse.
a) The heavy traffic problem can be solved by building rapid transit systems form
the suburb to the cities, by improving public transport systems within the cities, by
forming car pools.
PARAGRAPH 2:
b) People in different cultures all over the world have different systems for family
life.
c) In most cultures, people live in extended families, in which several generations
share the same house.
a) However, in others, the nuclear family is the norm, with only the parents and
young children sharing the same house
f) In the United States, some people are experimenting with still another system of
family life: living together without marriage.
d) If this new system becomes widespread, it could have enormous effects on
American society
e) On the positive side, living together might reduce the divorce rate in the United
States, on the negative side, it might lead to the eventual disintegration of the
family together.
PARAGRAPH 3:
b) Earthquakes are the most destructive natural disasters known to man, in terms of
the millions of deaths and billions of dollars in property loss that they cause.
c) Despite these heavy losses, scientists are still unable to predict earthquakes.
a) Although scientists have experimented with different methods of prediction,
from observing animal behavior to measuring radio signals from quasars, they
have not proven successful
d) This paper will review the history of the science of the earthquake predictions,
then discuss each of the methods in more details, and finally present data
indicating the success/failure ratios of each method.
WRITING TASK 6:
1. Firstly, watching too much television makes people lazy and can be addictive to
a great extent for every age group. Furthermore, spending time sitting to watch TV
can give them such backache, which makes you discomfort to do something.
Secondly, this also impacts their state of mind and thinking ability, which prevents
them from living a meaningful life and wonderful things.
3. No one can deny the fact that parents can develop their children’s minds,
characteristics and personalities. In other words, parents play major roles in the
educational success of a child, and the school is responsible for teaching essential
skills, introducing new knowledge, developing other skills for children such as
music, physical education, chemistry, etc. Equally important is the collaboration
between school and parents: the school is a social environment and give children
interaction with their classmates, and parents are the ones who increases children’s
motivation, providing a suitable environment for studying, then the children’s
development is comprehensive, both emotion, academic and social skills.
In conclusion, there are many factors around our lives that makes us feel stressed.
What we have to do is that we should be aware of work pressure and find ways to
respond appropriately. Work is important, there is no denying this, but we also
need to balance work and leisure to achieve good results and development of the
board.
