1. O(1) - Constant Time: The execution time remains the same no matter how large the input is. For
example, accessing an element in an array by its index.

search.

3. O(n) - Linear Time: The execution time increases in direct proportion to the input size. A common
example is iterating through an array.

4. O(n log n) - Linearithmic Time: This is a combination of linear and logarithmic growth. Merge sort

5. O(n²) - Quadratic Time: Execution time grows quadratically as the input size increases. Bubble sort
is a typical example.

 Graham's Scan: O(n log n). Sort the points by polar angle relative to the starting point and
use a stack to construct the hull.
 Divide and Conquer: O(n log n). Divide the points into halves, compute the hulls for each
half, and then merge them.
 Quickhull: Average case O(n log n), Worst case O(n²). This algorithm divides the points into
subsets and recursively determines the hull for each subset.

Applications of Convex Hull:

Floyd-Warshall Algorithm

The Floyd-Warshall Algorithm is used to find the shortest paths between all pairs of nodes in a

Steps:

Initialize the distance matrix, where each entry holds the weight of the direct edge between nodes or
infinity if there is no direct edge.

Iteratively update the distances using the formula:

Advantages:

3. Union of Trees:
o A binomial heap is a collection of binomial trees ordered by their degree, where no

 Reductions: If we can reduce one NP-complete problem to another in polynomial time, then
they are considered equivalent in terms of difficulty. If a polynomial-time algorithm is found
for any NP-complete problem, it can be used to solve all NP-complete problems in
polynomial time.
