BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE

E-SCHOOL EDUCATIONAL GROUP is an Adult Education Centre and VET provider
located in Greece. It is accredited by the Greek Ministry of Education & Qualifications
and Vocational Guidance as a lifelong learning centre (ID 2000112).

It was founded in September 2003 with the goal of educating VET and adult learners
in job-related skills. Our commitment is to provide quality education and accreditation
and support our learners in developing skills that will ensure their smooth and
successful transition into the labour market.

Our facilities cover an area of over 500 m2.

Apart from the two owners, E-SCHOOL is currently staffed by nine permanent
employees and over 50 teachers, depending on the circumstances.
In the past 10 years, we have trained over 5000 unemployed individuals via the
«Voucher for Entry to the Labour Market» programs, and over 3000 more trainees in
our various seminars.

E-SCHOOL activities target the following Groups:

1. Disadvantage groups such as NEETs, Ethnic Minorities, Migrants, People with
Disabilities, Isolated Elderly People, etc.)

We promote employability and entrepreneurship by equipping individuals with
updated occupational qualifications and enhancing their employment perspectives.
We strive to bridge the gap between education and labour market needs, ensuring
equal access and smooth transition into the workforce. Our primary focus is to
address skills mismatch, support social cohesion, and foster a thriving and inclusive
job market. In this light, we implement the following initiatives:
1. National Programmes through the system of training vouchers for the
unemployed to acquire and/or update/upgrade professional knowledge and
skills to satisfy the modern demands of the labour market.
2. National Vocational Training Programmes for Employees in small businesses
(SMEs)(LAEK 1-30) aimed at preparing employees to better meet the needs of
the companies for which they work and to boost their productivity.
3. Community Service Programmes in Municipalities aimed at providing Training
in ICT, Social Economy, and Entrepreneurship. The main target group of this
action is unemployed people.

II. Digital Literacy:

We are dedicated to developing individuals' digital skills for life and work. Our training
courses focus on promoting digital skills and competences, fostering digital
citizenship, encouraging digital thinking, and utilizing open and distance learning

methods. By empowering individuals with these essential digital skills, we enable

them to thrive in the digital age and contribute to a digitally inclusive society.
In this light, we implement the following initiatives:
1. ICT Training in basic and/or advanced digital skills to prepare learners for both
their personal and professional lives (Certified ICT examination centre by
UNICERT & GLOBAL CERT).
2. Distant learning: E-SCHOOL provides courses via the e-learning platform
(https://www.e-mathima.gr/) that it developed to satisfy the requirement for
distant learning for its self-funded training programmes (IT, English,
professional seminars, etc.).

III. Social inclusion:

We promote inclusion, equality, and non-discrimination for disadvantaged and
marginalized groups. We strive to create a society where individuals are not excluded
based on race, gender identity, age, disability, immigration status, or any other factor.
Our organization places a special emphasis on the inclusion and empowerment of
people with disabilities. We offer comprehensive training courses and career
development programmes to enhance their skills, boost their confidence, and create
equal opportunities for their personal and professional growth.

IV. Sustainability:
We promote sustainable development within workplaces. Our primary focus is on
addressing critical global challenges such as climate change, sustainable consumption,
environmental education, and the creation of sustainable communities. We firmly
believe that workplaces play a vital role in driving positive change and contributing to
a sustainable future. Through our tailored initiatives, education, and engagement, we
empower organizations to integrate sustainability practices into their operations and
foster a culture of environmental responsibility.

V. Foreign Languages:
The Centre for Foreign Languages at E-SCHOOL is specialized in adult education and
official accreditation exam preparation in foreign languages. Our center offers
comprehensive classes in English, Italian, and Russian, catering to the diverse needs
of adult learners and vocational education and training (VET) learners. With a strong
commitment to promoting best practices in language learning, we prioritize meeting
the unique goals and requirements of our adult learners.

Implementation of training programmes

E-SCHOOL provides high-quality education and training services to VET and Adult
Learners. Over the years it has been implementing a large number of training
programs/seminars at the local/national level aimed at reducing unemployment
through the integration and reintegration of individuals in the labour market.

National programmes on unemployment

Since 2011 E-SCHOOL provides training services through the «TRAINING VOUCHER»
system supported by the Ministry of Labour, Social Insurance, and Social Solidarity,
which aims to achieve a structured path for the entry of unemployed into the labour
market (https://voucher.gov.gr/en). In the past 8 years, E-SCHOOL has trained over
1000 unemployed individuals through this programme.

National seminars for Educators

E-SCHOOL acts as a certified training centre for professionals to become certified as
adult trainers. Moreover, it is a certified training centre for the education of Primary
and Secondary Education permanent teachers on the use of new technologies in
teaching (B2-Level ICT teacher training).

The Centre of Foreign Languages of E-SCHOOL has experience in providing training in
foreign language teaching to meet the needs of adult and VET learners while
promoting best practices in language learning.

Project Management – Dissemination & Exploitation

E-SCHOOL has participated in a large number of Erasmus+ projects in the last five (5)
years through which its staff has gained a wealth of experience in the area of project
management, dissemination, and exploitation.

Research, Educational Material Development & Consulting

Within the framework of the projects, E-SCHOOL’s staff works on research
methodologies, conducts research, elaborates reports, designs curricula and training
materials which often are prepared as an answer to the needs of a concrete group of
people. Moreover, it has participated, either as a partner or a consultant, in a large
variety of programmes.

E-learning Platform and Content Development

We specialize in designing and developing customized e-learning platforms that cater
to the unique needs of our clients. We prioritize user-centric design to ensure that
learners have a positive and engaging experience on our e-learning platforms. Our
team has the capacity to develop learning materials, such as presentations,
documents as well as engaging multimedia content, including videos, interactive
quizzes, assessments, etc.

1) Ms Maria Malliora
Maria holds a Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering (MEng) from the
Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, and also a Med in Adult Education. She
is an active teacher, adult and VET trainer. Her field of expertise is educational
research, design, implementation, and evaluation of educational programmes. She
has core expertise in ICT-based learning, computational thinking, robotics, coding,
and STEAM curriculum development. She has also participated in many EU-funded
projects.

2) Ms Maria Kotrotsiou
Maria holds a Degree in the Greek Language. She got a master’s degree in Foreign
Language Teaching (TSGOL) and a second master’s degree in Planning &
Development of Tourism and Culture. She is also an active adult and VET trainer. She
has extensive experience in designing and developing innovative curriculums and
interdisciplinary programs for education purposes. She has experience in research,
education, inclusion, literacies, innovation, and project management. She has also
participated in many EU-funded projects.

this application? 3) Mr Antonios Karalis
Antonios holds a degree in Civil Engineering. He is the Head of Education Unit at E-
SCHOOL. He is the coordinator of all Erasmus+ KA1 (staff mobility) training courses.
He has more than 10 years of experience in Education, learning design, and training
of unemployed, employees, teachers, and professionals. He has extensive expertise
in managing National Programmes aimed at both the unemployed and industry
employees and he has managed many Voucher projects.

4) Mr Vasileios Mousafiris
He is a university graduate of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering
(Meng) of the University of Ioannina. He is an ICT expert, web designer/developer,
and graphic designer who has worked on many projects over the years, materialising
actions related to the projects' technical and informatics aspects. He has extensive
experience in the management and implementation of a wide range of projects.

5) Mr Theodoros Panagos
He is a university graduate of the Department of Music Technology and Acoustics of
the Hellenic Mediterranean University. He is an Audio producer and engineer. He
has participated in the development and production of audio and/or video projects.

He is an ICT expert, web designer/developer, and graphic designer. He has a wealth

of experience in designing and creating websites and platforms, as well as in
planning advertising campaigns and social media marketing strategies.

6) Ms Tsafitsa Konstantina
She is a University graduate of the department of German Language and Literature
at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) and has a Master’s in Intercultural
Education and Diversity. She worked as a classroom teacher at private schools,
where she taught students ranging in age from 6 to adults. She also works in the
field of non-formal education. Her interests are focused on the purposes of language
teaching, Intercultural Education, and Diversity.

7) Mr Adamopoulos Konstantinos
He is a University graduate of the University of Macedonia (UOM) in the field of
International and European Studies. He has also a Master’s from the Aristotle
University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) in Communication. He has extensive knowledge of
advertising campaigns and social media marketing strategies.
