SECTION A (Compulsory)

Wildlife Conservation Website

The Uganda Wildlife Conservation Society (UWCS) is facing challenges in raising awareness
and generating support for wildlife conservation efforts, especially following a drop in donations
and visitor numbers in the last two years. The Director of Communications suggested that
developing an engaging website could be a strategic tool to attract donors, inform the public
about conservation projects, and provide resources for students and researchers interested in
Uganda’s wildlife.
After reviewing this proposal, UWCS has decided to invest in this digital approach to broaden its
outreach and boost engagement with both local and international audiences. You have been
assigned the task of designing this website to meet UWCS’s goals and ensure that it is hosted
online and effectively publicized. The following pages have been suggested to structure the
website content:
Home & About • Welcoming message with UWCS’s mission, vision, and core values.
(home.html) • Brief intro on Uganda’s wildlife and the importance of conservation.
• Links to explore more sections.
Wildlife & Projects • Overview of Uganda’s wildlife (mammals, birds, reptiles, endangered
(wildlife-projects.html) species) with brief descriptions and images.
• Section on conservation projects, including goals and achievements, with
options for user involvement
Events & Education • Calendar of upcoming events and workshops with registration options.
(events-education.html) • Educational resources: downloadable articles, videos, and student-focused
materials on wildlife conservation.
Support & Contact • Donation options with information on funding needs and how to support
(support-contact.html) UWCS.
• Contact form for inquiries and volunteering, plus a map of key locations.
