1 General Information
The user loads instruments into standard basket and places it into unit. Wash
temperature and wash time can be manually set by user. Water and detergent are
added manually by user. Ultrasonics degas tank by pulsing on and off to remove any
dissolved air. This is followed by a period of ultrasonics to dislodge material from
instruments. Instruments are removed from unit for manual rinsing and sterilization.
During wash cycle, parameters are reported at key stages of process. The on-board
cycle log can be download via USB flash drive. The unit is designed to perform within
strict and carefully controlled tolerances. If unexpected condition occurs during wash
cycle, system will abort cycle and report an error.

8 Routine Maintenance
• For cleaning internal and external surfaces, a disinfectant cleaner such as isopropyl
alcohol or a household kitchen cleaner can be used, provided it is marked as a
DISINFECTANT cleaner.
• Use non-abrasive cleaners for cleaning internal and external surfaces of unit. Follow
directions on container and rub in back-and-forth motion in same direction as
surface grain. Abrasive cleaners damage stainless steel. Cleaner rubbed in circular
motion, or applied with wire brush or steel wool will scratch and dull stainless steel.
• In the interests of health and safety, all medical washers should be cleaned on a
weekly basis as part of a routine maintenance program. This will ensure machine is
safe for operators and maintenance personnel. To keep your machine operating
within design parameters, the following checks must be performed on a regular
basis. Please note that completion of these checks is not a substitute for regular
servicing and maintenance by a suitably qualified technician.
