Introduction
Afghanistan is a development country and it needs more construction
projects to ensure the people to live in a welfare place. As we know better,
more construction project is not based on the standard criteria. In design project
course the dominator group attempt to complete the design and analysis of
structural building constructions, road geometry and pavement, bridges, dam
and design of water supply network.
At the first, A Feasibility study is important part of preparation at a stage of
pre-contract. Definition of feasibility study in economic sense are investigation
that tend to determine whether a product development is a profitable or not.
Other than these the feasibility study explain in detail the assessment of
evaluation for proposed project in terms of economic assessment, financial
assessment, technical impact and risk assessment, social and environmental
assessment . And our group could prepare a feasibility study for the
construction of 5 stories residential building.

Social and environmental assessment

As we considered, the people needs to build houses which is the basic
necessary of habitat live. And this building is located near to Labe-Jar Street
and back of the Sayeed-Nasiri high schools. And in four sides of this building
are neighbors. And also it is illegal to build over 3 stories building in 11th
district. So this building is 5 stories building. The area where the project
starts is around 300 meter squared. And it has a landscape and green area.
And we are going to design the project have all possibilities and necessity of
the habitat. For instance, garages, water supply system and a satisfactory
sewer system, ventilation and lift system.

The location is well connected with electricity, water supply and
communication system, there is also schools, bazar and others in the vicinity.

Economic assessment
The economic assessment is concerned with the worth of the project as well
as to developer or user. There are on-going construction existed in the nearby
area that may affect the movement of the project.
The method of economic assessment should be applied in terms of following
issues:
 Saving in material and energy
 Saving in time
 Improved health and welfare
 Reduction of waste

Financial assessment
The source of funding for this project is its owner, and the funding is based
on what criteria or rules will apply. The financial assessment is referred
through a preparation of cash flow for budgeting of the proposed project. And
this assessment is based on the estimation which is done before the contract of
the project. Fortunately, the estimation is nearly exact nowadays in market.
And cost of the project is classified as cost of pre and post- development stages.
And the cost is estimated based on following
 Site investigation
 Surveying fees
 Plan and submission fees
 Construction cost
 Mechanical and electrical cost.

Technical Assessment
In this project there is a site engineer and professional foreman and
laborers. Selecting appropriate sites with planned access and the geotechnical
report is exist and it is convenient to this project. The materials which is used
in all the process of the project is exist in Kabul market. For the seismic
resistance system it has good measures, shear wall will provided around the
cabinet of lift. And the during the construction we should observe the safety
system and assign a safety rules and also train the laborers, how to observe a
safety, for example when a farmworker assign the boards on slab they should
be very careful and have a safety cable.

Conclusion
The study can be concluded that the results of the overall evaluation of
market and feasibility study provide the information in implication to the
contractors either to proceed or discontinue of project proposed. In other side
during the completion of the project, job opportunities are available for many
people. a standard project has a good effect on society and that is sum of
individuals and interconnected effects.
