may be extinct if we don't take care of them.

Why do animals become endangered?

Different animals can be endangered for many reasons:

1-Overhunting of the animals


can put them at risk.
Humans hunt animals (for
sport, their fur, tusks, or meat)

2-Loss of habitat:
means destroying the animal habitats.

over the animal’s
habitats

B-Panda is endangered because of habitat
loss as people use the bamboo which the
panda eats in making chairs.

C- Cutting trees: people cut trees to get wood and paper

3-Using chemicals: that can make the animals ill.

4- Dirty water: people make water dirty


by their activities as they throw
chemicals, rubbish in the fresh water.

How to save endangered animals?
1– Build national parks
what is a national park?
It is a place owned by the government
to keep different kinds of animals, to
protect them from being extinct.

Ex.

Animals adapt to different environments


1-Desert
a- Camel :
Have a flat feet to walk on sand easily

b-Fennec fox:
Have large ears to avoid heat and help
keep it cool.

a-Chameleons:
Chameleons change color of their skin helps them blend (hide) in with
their habitats.

Have a long hand to climb easily

It’s a habitat BETWEEN THE FOREST AND THE DESERT

Animals live in this area have a thick fur to keep their body warm .

Lots of animals depend on plants on feeding so if the plants extinct a


large number of animals will be Endangered.
