TASK: CASE STUDY ANALYSIS ON PROTOCOL AND ETIQUETTE IN EVENTS

Overview:
This assignment requires you to critically analyse a real-life event where protocol and etiquette played a crucial
role. You will assess how adherence to, or violation of, protocol influenced the success or failure of the event.
Through this case study, you will demonstrate your understanding of protocol, its importance in event
management, and how you can apply these insights to future events.

Assignment Objectives:
1. To analyse real-world examples of protocol and etiquette in event management
2. To assess the impact of protocol on event success or failure.
3. To provide actionable recommendations based on best practices in protocol management.

Instructions:
1. Select a Real-Life Event
Choose a real-life event where protocol and etiquette played a key role. The event can belong to any of
the following categories:
▪ Diplomatic (e.g., state dinners, embassy receptions)
▪ Corporate (e.g., product launches, annual general meetings)
▪ Government (e.g., official visits, inaugurations)
▪ Social (e.g., weddings, charity galas)
▪ International summits (e.g., United Nations meetings, G7)
The event must be well-documented with available information about the protocol or etiquette involved.
