Explain the following questions: (15 points each)

1. Is technology influencing humanity or is humanity influencing technology?

- Yes, technology has a huge influence on our humanity as it is such a major


part of our every day lives and has become part of the evolution of human
nature, it modifies human qualities, while at the same time, humanity is
influencing technology as the development and expansion of technology is
created by humans. However, technology is likely to influence and affect
humanity in negative ways such as altering the nature of humanity which can
lead to issues concerning morals. Yet at the same time, technology can be
considered as a part of the nature of human evolution or an influence of human
nature. However, the importance of keeping humane qualities should not be
influenced, forgotten or taken over by technology. When we consider how older
generations had very little if any technology compared to present day
advancements, it would seem important to compare those from older
generations with those from present generations.

2. How can technology change your life and the community?

- We have seen technology growing from a baby until today it plays as an


essential part of our life. It has changed the way we live , include the way we
work, learn , socialize and play. To begin with, technology has played an
important role in our work. In olden days , people had to commute to work, but
recently, there is a job called online job or work from home. People just need a
computer and WIFI. Then they can do their job at home or a coffee shop.
Besides, businessmen usually need to travel between two countries to make a
contract, but now, there is another way to communicate with their new
cooperative partner, which is to take video meeting and to make an agreement.
Technology also affect our way to learn. Because the advent of technology,
students have more options than before. They used to only take class at school.
Compared to olden days, it is more flexible due to the fact that the online class
is widely spread.

3. How relevant is society to technology and technology to society?

-One aspect of technology that has had a great impact on society is how it
affects learning. It’s made learning more interactive and collaborative, this
helps people better engage with the material that they are learning and have
trouble with. Also, it gets you better access to resources. With the creation of
the internet, it gives us access to information at a twenty-four-hour rate and
you have access to almost anything online. In addition, it allows students to get
work done easier. Students can take quizzes and exams more easily, and
teachers being able to hold online classes can be very effective. It also
expands the boundaries of the classroom, encouraging self-paced learning.
People can access learning through YouTube and social media. This helps
students learn better than sitting down for lectures and reading from textbooks.
These technological advancements made learning more fun and convenient.

4. What are the consequences when technology and humanity cross?

- Technology has always been part of humanity’s story. From the first tools and
fire to the latest smartphones and computers, technology has always played a
role in our development. Today, its hard to imagine life without technology. We
use it to communicate,work , learn and entertain ourselves. But as technology
becomes more and more advanced, its starting to change us as a species. We are
becoming more reliant on machines, and less capable of doing things for
ourselves. Our attention spans are shorter, and were more easily distracted.
Some people worry that were losing our humanity as we become more
technological. But I believe that technology can actually help us more humane.
By giving us new ways to connect with each other and learn about different
cultures, technology can help us become more compassionate and
understanding. What’s more important is that we use technology in balance with
our own qualities.
