Title: "The Encounter"

Scene 1: Exterior - Park (Day)

(Two characters, My Brother and I(Me), are walking down a park path. Me is talking about a
recent event. They stop to talk.)

Me (walking and talking): “I was telling you about my crazy day at work, right? You wouldn’t
believe what happened next…”

(Cut to Brother, who is listening attentively)

(J-Cut)

(Audio continues from Me, but we see Brother’s reaction before he starts speaking.)

Brother (smiling and nodding):

“Wow, that sounds intense! I can’t imagine being in your shoes.”

(Cut to Me, who looks relieved and laughs.)

Scene 2: Close-up of Me (walking and laughing)

Me: “Yeah, but you know what? I made it through…”

(Cutting on Action)

Me, while laughing, reaches into his pocket to pull out his phone.

(Cut to an Over-the-Shoulder Shot of Brother as he looks at My’ phone screen.)

(Label: "OTS Shot / Eyeline Match")

Brother leans slightly forward, looking at the phone with interest.

(Cut to a wide shot of both of them standing by a bench.)

Scene 3: Wide Shot - Both characters sit down on the bench. Me looks at Brother.)

(L-Cut)

The audio transitions from Brother’s dialogue to the sound of birds chirping before the visual
cut occurs.

Brother (to Me):

“We should really go hiking together sometime. I’m sure it’d be fun.”

(Cutting on Action)

Me nods, stands up quickly, and begins to stretch his legs as if preparing to leave. The shot cuts
as his movement happens, transitioning to him finishing his stretch in the next frame.

Scene 4: Close-up of Brother (looking toward Me, who is standing up and stretching)

(Cutting on Action)

We see Brother, reacting to Me, just as he finishes stretching. The cut happens in the middle of
his stretch to keep the flow natural.

(180-Degree Rule/OTS Shot)

From Brother's OTS shot, the camera angles shift around him as he watches Me. We adhere to
the 180-degree rule to maintain spatial consistency—ensuring that Me stays on the left and
Brother remains on the right.

Me (laughing and stretching):

“Alright, maybe we’ll try a quick hike tomorrow, but no promises.”

(L-Cut)

The sound of birds chirping and ambient park noises continues into the next scene while Me
begins to walk away, setting up a transition into the next moment.
Scene 5: Exterior - Park Path (Wide Shot)

(Cut to the wide shot of both characters walking away from each other in opposite directions.)

(J-Cut)

The audio of Brother saying, “See you soon!” begins while the video still shows Me walking.
Then, the video cuts to Brother walking in the opposite direction as the sound of his voice
overlaps, ending the scene.

End
-J-Cut: The audio of Brother speaking starts while the video still shows me, leading into his next
shot.
-L-Cut: The birds chirping as Brother finishes speaking, continuing into the next shot of the
characters on the bench.
-Cutting on Action: Me pulling out his phone or Brother reacting to him standing up.
-OTS Shots & Eyeline Match: Making the scene feel grounded in the environment.
