BRIEF NARRATIVE REPORT OF OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENTS/ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF THE


NOMINEE:

Engr. Apolonio dedicated her time in the department for the past 8 years and 1 month
as technical staff of the RAED. During those long years, Engr. Apolonio conducted
validation of 56 sites of proposed small water impounding projects (SWIP) and diversion
dams (DD). She was involved in the 119-site survey and design, wherein 40 were
already implemented, and 3 is on-going implementation.

For the past 2 years, she was the only female engineer that was able to lead a survey
team and a designer group of engineers of SWIP and DD with minimal supervision of a
permanent staff. Due to various activities that need to be attended by permanent staff,
Engr. Apolonio was able to conduct a thorough review of the detailed engineering
design (DED) and program of works (POW) of SWIP and DD. Among her
accomplishments is the preparation of DED and POW of the Bubug SWIP and
Nagsabaran SWIP located at Sto Tomas, Isabela, with a project cost of 46M and 53M,
respectively.

Though there are many better opportunities at the different national government
agencies, she is steadfast to stay in the department. For now, Engr. Apolonio acts as a
mentor and adviser to the newly trained 3-engineers in the survey and designer group
of SWIP and DD.
