enters the rectifier module through the AC power distribution unit. The rectifier
module converts AC power to-48V DC power, which is distributed to multiple loads
by the DC power distribution unit.

Under normal AC supply, the rectifier module not only supplies power to the DC load,
but also provides charge current for the battery. When AC power is disconnected,
the rectifier module stops working and the battery supplies power to the DC load.
After the AC power is restored, the rectifier module supplies power to the DC load
and recharges the battery to supplement the power consumption.

The monitoring unit monitors the operation status of each part of the power system
in real time and carries out corresponding intelligent control. If abnormal, report
warning signal in time.

1. Check whether the fault indicator on the rectifier module panel is always on
(red), if so, pull out the rectifier module, and reinsert the module after the
indicator goes out;

2. If still alarm, please replace the rectifier module.

5.2.17 Rectifier module protection

Possible causes

1. The input voltage of rectifier module is too high;

2. The input voltage of rectifier module is too low;

42
5. Product maintenance

3. The ambient temperature is too high;

4. The rectifier module works abnormally.

Treatment methods

1. Check whether the AC input voltage is higher than the maximum working
voltage of the rectifier module. If so, restore the power supply after dealing with
the power supply fault;

2. Check whether the AC input voltage is lower than the maximum working voltage
of the rectifier module. If so, restore the power supply after dealing with the
power supply fault;

3. Check whether the ambient temperature is higher than the normal working
temperature of the module. If so, check and eliminate the fault of temperature
control system;

4. Pull out the rectifier module of the alarm, and insert the rectifier module after the
indicator is off. If the alarm still occurs, replace the rectifier module.

5.2.18 Communication failure between rectifier module and

monitoring module

Possible causes

1. The rectifier module is pulled out;

2. Poor contact of rectifier module;

3. Rectifier module fault.

Treatment methods

1. Check whether the rectifier module is pulled out. If so, reinsert the rectifier
module;

2. If the rectifier module is in place, replug the rectifier module again;

3. If the alarm still occurs, replace the rectifier module.

5.3 Part Fault Positioning

43

5.3.1 Air switch fault positioning

Air switch fault mainly includes the following phenomena:

 After dealing with the fault of short circuit in the rear line of the air switch, the air
switch cannot be adjusted on/off;

 When the input voltage of the air switch is normal and at ON state, the voltage
at both ends of the air switch is greater than 1V;

 When the input voltage of the air switch is normal and at OFF state, the voltage
at both ends of the air switch is lower than 1kΩ.

5.3.2 Rectifier module failure positioning

If any of the following two points is not satisfied, the rectifier module will be
damaged:

 When the rectifier module does not communicate with the monitoring module
and the input AC phase voltage is about 220V, the green light of the rectifier
module is on, the yellow light flashes, the red light is not on, and the output of
the rectifier module is normal;

 When the rectifier module communicates with the monitoring module (the
communication line of the rectifier module is normally connected), the
monitoring module can perform average charging and floating charge control
as well as current limiting control on the rectifier module.

5.3.3 Monitoring module fault positioning

Monitoring module failure mainly includes the following phenomena:

 The DC output of the power system is normal, and the green indicator of the
monitoring module is off for a long time;

 There are obvious faults in the monitoring module, such as crash, no response
to startup, LCD display problems, button failure, etc;

 When the alarm is enabled, when the power system fails, the monitoring
module does not generate an alarm;

 After the monitoring module generates an alarm, it is detected that the power
system has no fault indicated by the alarm;

44
5. Product maintenance

 When the communication line is normal, the communication of all subordinate

equipment displayed in the monitoring module is interrupted;

 When the rectifier module and communication line are normal, the
communication between the monitoring module and all rectifier modules is
interrupted;

 When the communication line and DC power distribution are normal, the
monitoring module cannot detect the DC power distribution normally;

 The monitoring module cannot set parameters or check operation information.

5.4 Replacement of Parts

5.4.1 Replacement of air switch

1. Place the air switch to be replaced in OFF state;

2. Record the connection information of the cable;

3. Remove cables and conduct insulation treatment;

4. Insert a straight screwdriver into the plastic buckle under the air switch to be
replaced and press down to remove the air switch from the guide rail;

5. When fixing a new air switch, first clip the upper part of the air switch into the
guide rail, and then press the lower part. After hearing a "click", it means that
the air switch has been connected to the guide rail in good condition;

6. Connect the cable to the air switch according to the previously recorded cable
information;

7. Put the air switch to be in ON state;

5.4.2 Replacement of rectifier module

1. Wear insulating gloves;

2. When removing the rectifier module to be replaced in the subrack, loosen the
screw on the rectifier module handle (turn counterclockwise to loosen the
screw);

3. Gently pull the handle to separate the locking buckle of the rectifier module
from the subrack, and take out the rectifier module from the subrack;

4. When replacing a new rectifier module, loosen the screws on the rectifier
module (turn counterclockwise to loosen the screws);

5. Put the rectifier module into the installation position of the subrack, put the
handle in the open position, and fully push the rectifier module into the subrack;

6. Push the handle into the front panel of the rectifier module, lock the rectifier
module safely on the subrack, and then tighten the screws on the handle;

7. Take off insulating gloves.

5.4.3 Replacement of the monitoring module

1. Wear insulating gloves;

2. When removing the monitoring module to be replaced in the subrack, loosen

the screw on the handle of the monitoring module (turn counterclockwise to
loosen the screw);

3. Gently pull the handle to separate the locking buckle of the monitoring module
from the subrack, and take the monitoring module out of the subrack;

4. When replacing a new monitoring module, loosen the screws on the monitoring
module (turn counterclockwise to loosen the screws);

5. Put the monitoring module into the installation position of the subrack, put the
handle in the open position, and fully push the monitoring module into the
subrack;

6. Push the handle into the front panel of the monitoring module, lock the
monitoring module safely on the subrack, and then tighten the screws on the
handle;

7. Take off insulating gloves.
