The MAN-IA user interface within the StreamScape GUI allows great
flexibility in configuring MAN-IA for specific applications. Channels can be
defined within the band(s) that the radio supports, providing autonomous
frequency agility over several GHz of frequency range.
Long-range, high-throughput point to point links are essential for interconnecting field units with command
centers, FOBs, TOCs, and other locations or vehicles for which high data rates are required
• 450+ MBps of total network throughput
• Fixed location systems unable to be used while on the move
• Voice / Video / Data
• Line-of-sight operation only
• Point to Point only, requiring precise pointing of antennas
• Limited range of frequency bands available

Vehicles Equipped with StreamCaster radios and a rugged tablet or laptop can monitor the
body/helmet worn cameras and GPS locations from dismounted soldier. Additionally, our radios can
support dual talk group push to talk functionality. Video can be recorded for after-action review and
evidence.

Dismounted Operators
Armored Vehicle Dismount Operations
Convoy safety and effectiveness can be increased by equipping vehicles with StreamCaster radios,
cameras, and GPS receivers. This will enable team commanders to see the video streams and GPS
location of all team members.
If aerial assets are deployed and equipped with cameras and Silvus radios, operators in the
vehicles can view the video stream from the airborne camera. This is very effective to avoid
ambushes, and enable accurate interdiction of target groups and vehicles.
Armored Vehicle Voice/Video/Data Network
With our StreamCaster Radios, each vehicle is part of a self-forming, self-healing, high-performance
mesh network. This network can provide up to 85 Mbps of data throughput to support HD cameras,
multiple talk groups, Radio Over IP (ROIP) solutions, GPS location of all vehicles, and data capabilities
to support a wide range of tactical applications. Every vehicle is a repeater, enabling extension of the
network and providing connectivity in BLOS and/or hostile environments.

Airborne/ Maritime Deployment Example
VBSS teams equipped with body-worn SC4200 mesh radios
Satellite
and connected GPS, PTT audio, and helmet-mounted cameras
can be be deployed from boarding craft onto suspect vessels.
Boarding craft would connect to the boarding team via SC4200
mesh nodes, and all video streams viewed on mesh-enabled
viewing unit equipped with PTT audio capabilities.
Primary vessel would receive all video streams, GPS locations,
and have PTT audio capabilities via SC4200 series radio
onboard. This radio could be connected to ship SATCOM
system to enable monitoring of video, GPS locations, and audio
PTT at remote HQ.
Manned and Unmanned aerial assets equipped with Silvus
radios could also interact with the mesh network to either
provide aerial camera downlinks to command staff, or serve as
range extender / relay as needed.

UAS Integration
Many UAS manufacturers are using Silvus radios for their video,
telemetry, and control links, making integration very easy.
Additionally, we can easily integrate the majority of unmanned
systems into our tactical mesh networks to enable sharing of the
video streams with other users via use of external encoders, or
directly accessing the IP stream at the ground station.
Group 1 UAS
Above are some of images of integration utilizing Silvus’ OEM module. Customers will
marry them up to daughter/carrier boards with computing power for command, control,
telemetry, or sensor data/fusion requirements. Once the design is created and the boards
are properly synced, airframe location and placement must be considered for weight &
balance, cooling, and spacing with respect to antennas and other avionics.
