1. review a teacher's philosophy of education;
2. visit a school to conduct an interview related to a teacher's philosophy of education; and
3. reflect on how a teacher's philosophy of education impacts students" learning.

CONCEPT DISCUSSION
Philosophy is the science of reason. It strives to explore and know the truth with reference to logical
reasoning and observing one's nature. The modes of philosophy vary as reflected in certain periods of time-be
it ancient, medieval, renaissance, or modern.
The modern philosophy of education stresses the value and beauty of knowledge and experiences. A
modern teacher is, thus, led to practice the profession of teaching in order to help students achieve their goals
in life.
As a teacher journeys in his or her profession, he or she is able to develop beliefs which serve as the
foundation of his or her value in practicing the teaching profession.
Creating one's philosophy in education may include the following:
- Beliefs and values to inculcate in the students
- Things that a teacher wants the students to achieve
- Goals and aims of education
- Skills that a teacher wants to impart
- Roles of teachers and students
- Strategies of imparting and facilitating learning
- Manner of assessing the learners
- Anything that may answer the questions, "What do you teach?" and "How do you teach?"
Furthermore, to formulate one's philosophy of education, one needs to balance and blend the mind and
heart.

Philosophy of Education

In the learning process, the students is the

center of learning. We teachers, it is our role to
support and motivate our students to be better
and to develop their love for learning. It sounds
hard but in the learning process, it may be too
difficult but it can also be fulfilling and joyous;
when we see our students trying their best to
achieve what they want in life.

Philosophy of Education

My personal philosophy of education is

rooted in the belief that every student is a
unique individual with the potential to learn
and grow, regardless of their background or
abilities. I strive to create a learning
environment that is both challenging and
supportive, where students feel safe to
explore their interests, ask questions, and
take risks. I believe that learning should be
engaging, relevant, and meaningful,
connecting to students' lives and the world
around them. My role as a teacher is to
facilitate this process, providing guidance,
support, and encouragement, while fostering
a love of learning that extends beyond the
classroom

PROCESSING QUESTIONS AND ANALYSIS

Inspiring me through her love in teaching and dedication to her job. She believes that the
world will not properly function if there are no teachers. Being a teacher shall be considered
as a previllage, that allow ourself to be one of the stepping stone of our students to reach
their ambition in life.

2. Where did you base your own philosophy of education? Explain.

3. How would you work towards fulfilling your own philosophy of education as a future teacher?

In order for me to fulfill my own philosphy: I have to finish my bachelors degree and pass the
let exams first. If im given a license to teach, I would like to apply at a rural area. Students in
this king of place has less previllage to educate themselves due to unmotivation and poverty.
As a teacher, it is also my role to make my students motivated and interested in learning. With
this, I will be able to fulfill my pholosphy as a teacher.
