Describe the fiber optic cable

1.They have a greater bandwidth- Fiber optic cables provide more bandwidth for carrying more data
than copper cables of the same data.

2. Faster speeds- they have a core that carries light to transmit data.

3. Longer distances- Fiber optic cables carry signals much further than the typical copper cables.

4. Better reliability- Fiber is immune to temparature changes weather all which hamper connectivity of
the copper cable.

5. Thinner and light- fiber can withstand more pull pressure than copper hence its less prone to damage.

6. Cheap cost of ownership- Fiber have a higher initial cost than copper, however the durability and
reliability make the total cost much lower.
