1 COURSE CONTENT
Course Description
The "SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP Business Objects Business Intelligence
platform 3.1"certification exam verifies that the candidate has proven skills and fundamental
knowledge in designing, deploying and running SAP Business Objects Business Intelligence platform
3.1. This exam measures the candidate's knowledge of SAP Business Objects Business Intelligence
platform starting with the tasks involved in supporting SAP Business Intelligence platform users and
groups, so as to access corporate data through the SAP Business Intelligence platform's web portal. It
will test the candidate's skills in configuring and managing servers in an SAP Business Intelligence
platform deployment, as well as in designing and deploying an SAP Business Intelligence platform
system.

What you will learn


Participants will gain the knowledge to participate in implementing, administering, and man-
aging data integration projects. The knowledge you will acquire will form the basis for more ad-
vanced training in Data Quality Services

Who Should Attend


The target audience for this course is Business Objects Enterprise administrators, IT
managers, and users who are responsible for configuring and managing Business Objects
Enterprise servers. Project team members with basic knowledge of Data Warehousing and
data integration concepts Data Warehousing consultants and project managers who work with
data integration

Prerequisite Education or Experience:


 Someone who is looking for a career in BUSINESS OBJECTS for SAP customers.
 Someone who is looking for a career in BUSINESS OBJECTS for Non SAP customers.
 Someone who is working as a SAP BW consultant and wants to learn SAP BO BI 3.1 skills.
 Familiarity with network security and administration concepts
 Basic knowledge of data warehousing and ETL (Extraction, Transfer and Loading)

Pre-requisites

LAB Setup for BO3.1:


1. All Machines with Windows Server 2008 64 bit OS.
2. With 8GB RAM.
3. With VMWARE Workstation 8.0.
4. MS-Office 2007 and Adobe Reader Installed.
5. SAP-BO Image should be copied in all the Machines.
Note:- VMWARE Image will be sent 5-7 days before the training through Hard drive/USB.
