ABSTRACT

E-Farming is a transformative e-commerce


platform aimed at addressing the challenges faced by farmers and
customers in the agricultural sector. Traditionally, customers often
have to travel long distances to purchase agricultural products, with
no assurance of quality or fair pricing. Additionally, the involvement
of middlemen reduces farmers' profits and increases costs for end
consumers. E-Farming seeks to eliminate these inefficiencies by
providing a direct and computerized approach for buying and selling
agricultural products nationwide.

This platform creates a virtual marketplace where


farmers can list their products, ensuring greater transparency and
profitability. Customers can browse a wide variety of agricultural
products, make informed choices, and complete purchases seamlessly
through an integrated online payment system. The user-friendly
interface and secure transaction process enable customers to access
desired products conveniently while ensuring that farmers receive fair
compensation for their produce.

By bridging the gap between farmers and


consumers, E-Farming promotes an efficient, robust, and sustainable
agricultural ecosystem. It not only enhances market accessibility but
also fosters economic empowerment for farmers by eliminating
intermediaries. This initiative represents a significant step toward
modernizing the agricultural sector and improving the flow of goods
and services in the marketplace.
INTRODUCTION

Portal for farmer to sell product at better rate System is to


help farmers to update farm product related information in
the website. Portal for farmer to sell product at better rate
System is farmer product management website application
which helps farmers to get best price for farming products. It
will also help farmers to improve their product and profit. It
enables farmers to sell their product direct to customer or
farmers can do direct delivery of product to the seller.
Farmers can view labors profile and they direct by the
farmer. The Farmers Portal of the Department of Agriculture
& Co-operation is a platform or farmers to seek any
information related to agriculture. Detailed information on
agricultural storage, crops, extension activities, selling the
product, interaction with the buyers or wholesaler to get
better rate, etc. We are developing an ‘CHATBOT’ for a rapid
communication purpose for customer. And also we are
adding weather broadcast report in this portal for farmer for
corps production. The farmer can be deal with the customer
directly so the price of the products offered by the farmer to
the customer will also be affordable to customer, it will help
both the farmer as well as the customer where the customer
can save some money and the farmer will gain extra profit.
SYSTEM STUDY

EXISTING SYSTEMS

In the existing e-commerce portal to sell crops/fruits/vegetables, there

is an intermediate vendor or multi-vendors through which the


products

are sold to us. Here, the vendor bargain with the farmers and get it at a

very low cost and sell it to the customers at a high price, thereby

earning profits, which in turn affects the farmers as they don’t even
get

the amount invested in the crops.

PROPOSED SYSTEM

In this application, we have removed the need of intermediate

vendors. That is, the farmers can directly sell their end products

online to the customers. Since this application has a very simple UI

, they won’t face much difficulties navigating through. In this way, it


is ensured that farmers get the maximum profit.

TECHNOLOGY STACK

ANGULAR
Angular is a popular front-end web application framework developed and
maintained by Google. It is used for building dynamic, single-page applications
(SPAs) with a focus on performance and user experience.

HTML,CSS,BOOTSTRAP ans JAVASCRIPT are then other technology


used here along with PHP.

MYSQL
MySQL is a reliable and widely used open-source relational database
management system (RDBMS). It is designed to efficiently store, retrieve, and
manage structured data.

SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS

DEVELOPMENT TOOLS

1. ANGULAR DEVELOPMENT:

o Node.js: v16.x or later (required for Angular CLI and

development server). o Angular CLI: Latest stable version for

project scaffolding and development. o Package Manager: npm

(bundled with Node.js) or Yarn for managing dependencies.

2. WEB DEVELOPMENT:
o VS code editor for HTML,CSS,BOOTSTRAP,JAVASCRIPT.

o PHP can be done with help of Xampp.

3. DATABASE:

o MySQL Server: v8.0 or later. o MySQL Workbench (optional):

For database management and visualization.

OPERATING SYSTEM

Windows 10/11, macOS Monterey or later, or a Linux distribution (e.g., Ubuntu


20.04 LTS).

CONCLUSION

The project report entitled " E-Farming An E-Commerce Website For

Farm Fresh Produce Vegetables and Fruits" is still under construction.

The work on the project is under progress. The part of our system has

been developed with much care that it is free of errors and at the same

time it is efficient and less time consuming. The important thing is

that the system is robust. We have tried our level best to make the site

as dynamic as possible. Also provision is provided for future

developments in the system. The entire system is secured. This online


system is made keeping in mind all pros and cons. The main motive

for the project was to eliminate middlemen through online E-farming

system to help farmers in every possible way and provide them a

stable platform where they can perform every transaction with ease.

The user only needs basic products like a computer and internet

connections. This website is mainly developed to replace the existing

system where the farmer has to suffer between the manufacturers and

the traders. Farmers will earn money as per the work they have done

and will not suffer by losses.
