REPORT ON WORKSHOP ON ETHICAL HACKING

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering and AVIT CSI


Student Branch Jointly Organized Workshop Titled “ETHICAL HACKING” on
April 07.04.2023 from 9.00am at IOT lab. Dr.J. Jagadeesan, Professor& Head,
Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Welcomed the Participants.

Dr.S.Raja Prakash, Professor, Department of CSE and introduced the


Resource Person to the Participants. Mr. Rakesh Elamaran, Security Engineer-2,
Camcast then briefed to the students about the Concepts of Ethical Hacking and
what are stages involved in Hacking and Various tools for Hacking. A QUIZ
Program was conducted and students participated in that. The Participants then
raised many queries with respect to the opportunities that are available in the field
of Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking. 45 Students attended the workshop and
K. Karthik, CSI Student Branch Counsellor proposed the vote of thanks.
