importance and usefulness.
The Academic Word List is the most principled and widely accepted list of academic words. Averil
Coxhead gathered information from academic materials across the academic disciplines to create this word list.
The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) provides a basic description of
what language learners have to do to use language effectively. The system contains 6 reference levels: A1, A2,
B1, B2, C1, C2. CEFR leveling provided by the Word Family Framework, created by Richard West and
