After the regression:
Ans to the ques. No. 1
Develop the regression Equation?

We know that.

Ŷ = a+b1x1+b2x2+b3x3+b4x4…………. + bnxn
Here,

a= 1.099690509

b1= -0.809358584

b2= 1.434332334

b3= 1.652731414

b4= 2.761944214

Now,

Ŷ = a+b1x1+b2x2+b3x3+b4x4
= 1.099690509 -0.809358584x1 + 1.434332334x2 + 1.652731414x3 + 2.761944214x4
Ans to the Ques. No. 2
Which development variable impacts most on the dependent variable?

Ans: If we see on table of regression than we can see of our dependent variable’s Quality of
seeds is 2.761944214 which is the highest number in table, and we can cay the independent
variable Quality of seeds impact most on the dependent variable because it is higher than the
other variables.

Ans to the ques no. 3

Identify Individual relationship between dependent variables and independent variables.

Ans: From table no. 1 When we do regression between production of Rice and Rainfall then the
output comes 3.587946645. Which denotes that a one-unit increase in rainfall is associated with
an estimated increase of 3.587946645 units in the dependent variable (production of rice). This
coefficient indicates a positive relationship between rainfall and rice production and its impact is
higher but less than cultivation, fertilizer and quality of seeds. But in multiple regression it shows
lesser effect on Rice production.

Coefficients
8.49443638
Intercept 1
3.58794664
Rainfall 5
Table no.1

From table no. 2 When we do regression between production of Rice and Fertilizer then the
output comes 4.481308411. Which denotes that, a one-unit increase in fertilizer is associated with
an estimated increase of 4.481308411 units in the dependent variable (production of rice). This
coefficient indicates a positive relationship between cultivation and rice production and its
impact is higher. But in multiple regression it shows lesser effect on Rice production.

Coefficients
4.67345794
Intercept 4
4.48130841
Fertilizer 1
Table no. 2

From table no. 3 When we do regression between production of Rice and Cultivation then the
output comes 4.702377596. Which denotes that, a one-unit increase in cultivation is associated
with an estimated increase of 4.702377596 units in the dependent variable (production of rice).
This coefficient indicates a positive relationship between Cultivation and rice production and its
impact is higher than all other variables. But in multiple regression it shows a lesser effect on
Rice production.

Coefficients
3.28596936
Intercept 4
4.70237759
Cultivation 6
Table no. 3

From table no. 4 When we do regression between production of Rice and Quality of seeds then
the output comes 3.837806638. Which denotes that a one-unit increase in quality of seed is
associated with an estimated increase of 3.837806638 units in the dependent variable
(production of rice). This coefficient indicates a positive relationship between quality of seeds
and rice production and its impact is higher but less than cultivation and fertilizer. But in
multiple regression it shows the lowest effect on Rice production.

Coefficients
Intercept 6.73962482
Quality of seeds 3.837806638
Table no. 4

So, we can say that individually an independent variable may impact most on the dependent
variable but when all factors are included it may show lesser effect on the dependent variable.
