I. OBJECTIVES Objectives must be met over the week and connected to the curriculum standards. To meet the objectives, necessary procedures must be followed and if needed, additional lessons, exercises and remedial
activities may be done for developing content knowledge and competencies. These are using Formative Assessment strategies. Valuing objectives support the learning of content and competencies and
enable children to find significance and joy in learning the lessons. Weekly objectives shall be derived from the curriculum guides.

A. Content Standards: ARTS


The learner demonstrates understanding of the art elements and processes by synthesizing and applying prior knowledge and skills and the salient features of the
arts of Southeast Asia by showing the relationship of the elements of art and processes among culturally diverse communities in the region and Southeast Asian
countries as having a rich artistic and cultural tradition from prehistoric to present times.
B. Performance Standards: ARTS
The learner creates artworks showing the characteristic elements of the arts of Southeast Asia and exhibits completed artworks for appreciation and critiquing.

Objectives: 1. analyzes elements and principles of art in the production of arts and crafts inspired by the cultures of Southeast Asia. (A8EL-lb-1)

Malaysia (modern batik, wau, and objects made from pewter); Thailand (silk fabrics and Loi Kratong Lantern Festival); Cambodia (Angkor Wat and ancient
