Pool Information
• All pools will be closed on January 1, January 15, February 18, and May 27.
• In the event of inclement weather, the lightning detection/prediction system is present. All
participants must exit the pool, immediately gather their belongings, and leave the pool deck.
• Showering is not permitted once the lightning detection/prediction system has been activated or
the pool has been cleared for thunder or lightning.
• The pool will be closed for lap swim, swim team practices, and water aerobics if the temperature is
55°F or colder. The pool will be closed for recreational swim if the air temperature is 65°F or colder.

Pool Rules
• Children under the age of eight (8) must be directly accompanied by an adult/guardian into the
water and must be at least within an arm’s reach from that child while in the pool.
• Children who are not potty trained must wear swim diapers.
• No street clothes are permitted in the pool (cutoffs, undergarments, basketball shorts, jeans, etc.).
• Food or drink is prohibited on the deck including glass bottles and alcohol.
• Smoking or vaping is not permitted on the pool deck.
• Children who are wearing floatation devices must be within arms reach of their parent/guardian
while in the pool.
