Community Food Donations/ Food for Fines Please help us help those less fortunate in our community. Winters are hard for our local families. With food prices constantly on the rise, and the extra expense of heat, it becomes very difficult for many to make ends meet. Please pick up an extra can or two to donate to our local food pantry. We accept canned goods, non-perishable foods, personal care items, paper items, and pet food. It is a great way to use your extra coupons. All donations are distributed to the community through the Farmington Interfaith Food Pantry. PLEASE SAVE THIS DATE: The Public Hearing on the Town Budget is scheduled for Wednesday, February 15 at 6:00 in the Selectmans Chambers . This is the only opportunity for residents to ask questions or make comments regarding the Town Budget. How your elected officials have funded each departments budget WILL AFFECT what services that are available including Library services. Please come and make your concerns heard! Elections and Town Meeting: Spring is not that far away and neither are our local elections and Town Meeting. We urge all our residents to exercise their right to vote. Voter Registration is FREE, quick, and easy. Take a small minute and make your voice heard. We would also like to remind everyone they need to ATTEND town meeting. Your vote does not count from your couch!
