Steps for e-Voting.

1. You will receive an email from NSDL on your email id registered with SCBA and/or SMS on your mobile
number registered with SCBA intimating the User ID for e-Voting. Kindly check your email from
[email protected] and/or SMS from NSDL.

2. Please Visit the e-Voting website of NSDL by going to www.evoting.nsdl.com and click on first tab on the
left ‘Shareholder/Member’ login button.
3. Member will get below page where the member has to enter User ID received from the NSDL on email
and/or mobile number registered with/ uploaded by SCBA. Select login type as OTP. (Password option
NOT available). Enter the verification code (Captcha) as shown on the screen or change the code if the
same is not clear and then enter the code in the space provided. Click on “I hereby agree to all Terms and
Conditions”. Terms and conditions could be perused if you wish by clicking on the HTML. Click “Login”.
4. OTP page is opened. Enter the OTP received on registered email id or/and registered mobile number and
click on “Submit”.
5. After successful authentication you would login inside the e-Voting page. Click on e-Voting tab. Then,
click on Active Voting Cycles/VC Or OAVM option
6. Members are able to see EVEN for each of the post where they are eligible to cast votes. Please note that
member will be able to cast vote only once per EVEN (e-Voting event number). If a member has cast vote
for particular EVEN partially then he/she will not be allowed to view the voting details or vote for the same
EVEN again. Please note the following headings of dashboard of e-Voting.
 EVEN – EVEN is unique number for particular voting category/ Vacancy/Post.
 ISIN – Unique code given for particular entity that is availing e-Voting services. SCBA in this
case.
 Company Name – Description of the post(s).
 Start date – Defines the start date and start time of voting.
 End date - Defines the end date and end time of voting.
 e-Voting status – This indicates the status of voting for particular EVEN. i.e. vote
pending/Voted/Partially Voted.

*Please ignore the column heading Result Date, Cut-off Date, Holdings on Record Date, Join General
Meeting and AGM docs.
7. Click on a particular post (EVEN) by reading the column with heading company name (description of
post(s)) of SCBA where the member wants to cast vote. Members have to choose candidates as per their
wish. For the post of Members Executive and senior Members Executive multiple choices can be made. For
these multiple choices after every choice is made remaining no. of choices shall be displayed. At the end
members can click on “Submit” button and “Confirm” when prompted.
8. Upon confirmation, “Vote cast successfully” message will be displayed. Click on OK to proceed with the
voting for remaining EVENs and Click on logout to exit from e-Voting system. Once you “CONFIRM”
your vote on the Candidate, you will not be allowed to modify your vote.
Note: Voting is allowed only once per EVEN/post(s). If you have voted for one or all the candidates for a
particular EVEN you will not be allowed to view/modify/cast vote again for the same post(s).
