CHAPTER 1: OVERVIEW OF THE CLUB
1.1 . Introduction The club
Muay Thai is a traditional Thai martial art with a history of more than 2000 years. It is
also a popular sport in Thailand. Westerners often refer to it as Thai boxing (Thai boxing)
because it has a number of fights similar to English boxing (boxing).
Muay Thai martial arts evolved from battles between tribes and countries in SouthEast
Asia. Muay Thai Martial Arts is considered a martial art with noble spiritual and religious
qualities.
Muay Thai Martial Arts not only helps improve health and physical strength, but also
develops self-defense skills and fighting spirit. Understanding this, the 4H Martial Arts Club
was formed. Martial Arts Club includes subjects:
- Muay Thai
- Boxing
- Kick Boxing
But at present, the 4H Martial Arts Club only opens the Muay Thai course.
1.1.1. Information base
Name of the club : 4H Martial Arts Club
Founding date: 4 January 2024
Slogan: "Professional - Quality - Always innovating and perfecting".
Vision 2024-2034: 4H Martial Arts Club will be the number 1 Muay Thai training centre
in Ho Chi Minh City.
Goal:
With the motto "Learner-centered - Quality is the Guideline", the training environment at
the club will always fully meet the needs of anyone who is passionate about practicing Muay
or who wants to achieve a healthy and toned body with the following goals.
Improve the health of the community.
Coordinate with the Ho Chi Minh City Sports Training and Competition Centre to achieve
the common goal of "developing physical education and sports for all people to improve
people's health as a basis for sports development.
To become a professional and reputable place for everyone to practice Muay Thai.

Includes classes:
- Children's classes: 4H Martial Arts Club offers classes specifically for children to help
them develop motor skills, discipline and self-confidence.
- Adult classes: The club also offers classes for adults to help them improve their
physical fitness, reduce stress and learn to be self-sufficient.
- Beginner classes: The 4H Martial Arts Club offers classes for beginners to help them
learn the basics of martial arts and develop a foundation of skills.
We have boxing and Muay Thai classes for every young person, at every level, from
beginners to professional boxers. With a team of experienced and enthusiastic coaches, we
will help you achieve your goals.
Business model: subscription business model
4H Martial Art Club uses a subscription business model based on membership fees per
course (each course averages 3 months).
- Registration fee: Registration fees for each course will depend on the class.
- Pay: Subscription fees can be paid monthly, or paid in full in installments.
1.1.2 Club Achievements
Currently, the Muay Thai Club of the 4H Martial Arts Club has just been established with
the main goal of improving the health and capacity of the members who participate in the
training. The club is still new and is focusing on building the foundation and developing the
skills of its members. It has not yet participated in any official competitions.

Although the club is new, it has great guidance from Mrs Huynh Ha Huu Hieu, one of
the leading Muay Thai athletes in Vietnam. Mrs Hieu is not only an excellent athlete but also
a dedicated and enthusiastic coach.
Gold medal at the 2019 & 2024 World Muay Thai Championships (IMFS): This is a
testament to Ms Hieu's ability and tireless efforts in competition and training. Some of her
outstanding personal achievements include

A silver medal at the SEA Games 31 and a gold medal at the SEA Games 32: these
achievements not only confirm their class on the international stage, but are also a great
source of inspiration for the club's members.

Multiple winner of national championships and domestic tournaments: Ms Hieu has


proven her stability and high performance throughout her competition in Vietnam.

She was honored as one of the best Muay Thai athletes in Vietnam: Mrs Hieu's
contributions and dedication to Muay Thai are worthy of recognition.
With Ms Hieu's experience and outstanding achievements, the 4H Martial Art Club
promises to develop strongly in the coming period. Members will not only train in a professional
environment, but will also have the opportunity to learn from one of the world's top athletes.
MrsHieu not only imparts skills and experience, but also creates motivation and passion for
everyone.

• Professional department

Location, function
The Professional Department is a professional department under the Ho Chi Minh City
Centre for Sports Training and Competition.
The function of the Professional Department is to advise and assist the Board of
Directors of the Centre in the organization, implementation, supervision and management of
professional activities related to training, coaching, competitions and organization of sports
tournaments; cultural education activities for athletes; and foreign relations in the field of
sports, both nationally and internationally.
Duties - powers.
Advising on the development of plans for professional management activities related to
training and the organization of sports tournaments; planning cultural education activities for
athletes and planning foreign activities in the field of sports and physical training.
Provide advice on the planning, design, professional management and administration of
training facilities and sports competitions.
Manage training, coaching and competitions for athletes and referees.
Organizing training courses to improve the skills of sports officials, coaches and
referees.
Organize and carry out registration work and training for talented sports teams;
Keeping track of athletes' achievements in sports;
Coordination and organization of mass sports tournaments and sports tournaments at
city, national and international levels.
Organise management and cultural training for Ho Chi Minh City sportsmen:
Organization of cultural training for athletes in accordance with the programme of the
Department of Education and Training and the regulations of the Ho Chi Minh City Department
of Culture and Sports;
Advice on the organization of ethical and political training courses for coaches and
athletes.
Advising on the assessment of expert recruitment documents and training contracts;
Advising on foreign affairs at home and abroad in the field of physical training and sports,
organization and implementation, and reception work in particular:
Advising and proposing ideas in coordination with sports departments under the
Management Centre, organizing international sports activities in the service of foreign affairs;
Proposing opinions in the research, survey and selection of training cooperation
partners;
To carry out other tasks as assigned by the Board of Directors of the Centre.

• Office of the general administration

Administrative, general, clerical and archival work;
Implementation of the management of the Centre's property, public assets and operating
resources; acquisition of assets and work equipment;

Carrying out work to maintain security and order and to prevent and extinguish fires;
Meeting services;
Accommodation management for athletes.
Collection and delivery services: meetings, training, competitions.
Mission
Management of records, implementation of policies, salaries and bonuses for officials,
civil servants, public servants and workers.
Emulate, reward and discipline work.
Advising on issues related to human resources organization: recruitment, appointment,
planning, labor contracts, resignation, dismissal for officials, civil servants, public employees
and workers.
Proposing the sending of officials, civil servants and public employees on training and
refresher courses.
Clerical and archival work.
Reporting on a weekly, monthly and irregular basis.
Manage and use the Centre's seal in accordance with the regulations.
Manage and purchase the Centre's property, working equipment, public property,
facilities and operating resources.
Maintaining security and order, ensuring fire safety, fire prevention and fire fighting.
Room manager for athletes of all sports.
To carry out any other tasks assigned by the Board of Directors of the Centre.
Power
According to the assigned functions and tasks, organize and carry out activities within
the authority in accordance with the law.
Contribute opinions related to the assigned area of activity.
Apply policies in accordance with regulations.
It is recommended that bachelors of departmental functions participate in courses to
improve political skills, professional management and serve work needs.

Centre's operational areas.

• Scientific and sports department

Function
To carry out scientific research in the field of physical education and sport: research into
the application of science and technology to training, research into training management
models, research into the sociology of sport... .
Mission
To support and advise on the scientification of the sports training process: planning of
training programmes, identification - quantitative monitoring of the work of coaches, nutritional
advice, training support, cyclical staff capacity building, injury prevention training...
Coordinate the organization of training and dissemination of scientific and sports medical
knowledge for the coaching and relaxation team.
Collaborate, organize and provide professional training in the field of sports science and
medicine.
Organizing intake assessments, directing sports training, checking and monitoring the
risk of injury in sport.
Advice on sports nutrition and doping prevention.
Providing advice on treatment and guidance on the recovery of files after sports injuries.

• Planning - finance department

Function
To prepare short and long term operational plans; the financial and accounting plans of
the Centre.
Advising, guiding and supervising the implementation of the plans and accounting work
of the Centre's units.
Prepare quarterly reports, 6-monthly reports, 9-monthly reports and annual activity
reports.
Organize and carry out accounting, revenue and expenditure and financial management
work in accordance with regulations.
Mission
Develops, synthesizes and advises the Board of Directors on annual and long-term
planning and operational plans. Submits these to the competent authorities for approval in
accordance with the regulations.
Synthesise and report on the operational plans of departments and units by quarterly,
6-monthly, 9-monthly and annual reports of the Centre.

Under the direction of the Board of Directors, advise on national and international
matters relating to physical education and sport.
Advising the Board of Directors of the Centre on financial and accounting matters;
activities related to the financial management of the sector are in accordance with state
regulations.
Manage accounting and settlement of financial sources and assets for budget sources,
grant sources, non-business income and expenses, and other sources according to the
provisions of the law.
Organize accounting and accounting statistics, accurately and fully reflect data, the
situation of use and finalization of funds in the Centre.

• Service department

Function
- Organisation of competitive activities and sporting events with income;
- Organisation of cultural services, organization of events, cultural festivals, sports
entertainment and sports medicine services.
- Organisation of exhibitions; presentation of products and sports equipment,
presentation of economic, scientific and technical achievements in the field of physical
education and sports;
- Providing services of advertising sponsorship for competitions and sports
performances in accordance with regulations.
- Advice on planning, building facilities and attracting investment.

• Martial arts club

Function and mission


Martial Arts Club is an accounting unit directly under the Ho Chi Minh City Sports
Training & Competition Centre.
Advise the Centre's Board of Directors on issues related to the management, training
and professional development of martial arts disciplines managed by the unit.
Carry out state management and archival work in accordance with regulations. Manage
and effectively use assets, ensure physical facilities and organize activities to serve the
training process of coaches, athletes, referees of martial arts and martial arts. Organize
sporting competitions for the club.
Organize and manage the training of athletes in 5 martial arts disciplines: Karate, Muay
Boxing, Martial Arts, Pencak Silat.
Organizing paid physical training and sports service activities according to the state and
center regulations.

To advise on issues related to the development of physical education in Ho Chi Minh
City.
To organize and manage the training of coaches, athletes and referees of physical
education sports.
Mission
- Develop a plan to train talented athletes from 6 years old in gymnastics (apparatus
gymnastics, acrobatics gymnastics, artistic gymnastics, trampoline, sports dance) to develop
the amateur gymnastics movement Community health development (nursing, aesthetics,
yoga) in accordance with the career of the city's sports industry in each period.
Organizing training (selection, training) and managing the training of gymnasts at the
initial, key, central preparatory, central and city recruitment levels.
Organizing and managing the training and competition process of gymnastics teams at
city, national and international level.
Organizing and managing the training and coaching process of sports teams: national
programmes and national teams are assigned by the Centre under the mandate of the General
Department of Sports and Sports.
Organizing training courses for sports instructors and referees.
Carry out other tasks assigned by the Ho Chi Minh City Sports Training and Competition
Centre.
1.3 Club finances
Because the Muay Thai 4H Martial Art Club belongs to the Ho Chi Minh City Sports
Training and Competition Center, it is supported with certain conditions such as only having
to pay field rental fees, which has helped the club. clubs reduce their cost burden. Below is a

1.4 Communications and Marketing

Currently, the Muay Thai Club of the 4H Martial Art Club has just been established, so
the communication work is not really strong. The club has a fan page on Facebook with more
than 10,000 likes and followers with the main aim of connecting and updating information for
members and Muay Thai lovers.

2.2 Communication plan

In today's era of globalization and competition, building and developing brands is


extremely necessary for businesses. Therefore, any business, whether large or small, must
pay special attention and focus on investing properly in this issue.
Besides, we are in an era where the media industry is developing extremely strongly.
The rapid development of the Internet and social networks has caused people's habit of
reading printed newspapers to gradually shift to reading online or online newspapers. from
watching television to watching on the Internet,... The digital advertising market (Digital
Marketing) has been born since then due to innovations in consumer needs and behavior.
Therefore, 4H Maritial Art Club will have prospects in developing its brand through Digital
marketing in the "fertile land" of digital media today. With available resources and capital along
with changes in consumer trends and behavior after the Covid-19 pandemic and economic
decline, this is both a challenge and an opportunity for the club. The club needs to find the
most creative, effective and comprehensive communication solutions to develop.
From the above analysis, it can be seen that the club's communication is not good.
Therefore, the team proposed a communication roadmap for the club in 3 months.
