 To reset the signal generator using the reset button  Dont plug in to the AC power  Switched off before replacing batteries  Use batteries in the range of 5V to 9V

 If the signal generator heated, check the battery connection.  If there is no output check the power supply.  Amplitude can be increased due to noises.  Frequency can be increased due to delay at digital to analog converter, conversion time.
