•The IFERROR function in
Excel is used to trap and
handle errors in a formula. It
returns a specified value if a
formula evaluates to an error,
and the formula's result if there
are no errors.
•The syntax for the IFERROR
function is:
•IFERROR(value,
value_if_error)
•Value: The expression or value
to be tested, usually provided
as a cell address
•Value_if_error: The value to
be returned if the formula
evaluates to an error

matches a specific criteria :

Data base function

▪ A database function is a routine that performs an


action on a database, such as a calculation, and
returns the result. Database functions are used to:

▪ Extend the functionality of a database server

▪ Transform, analyze, or retrieve data

▪ Perform complex operations on large datasets



If statement

▪ In Excel, an IF statement compares a value to an


expected value and returns a result based on
whether the comparison is true or false. A nested IF
statement is when one IF function is placed inside
another IF function, allowing for multiple criteria to be
tested and more possible outcomes.

Text function

▪. The text function allow you to
convert a text in a specific number
 format.

▪.The TEXT function in


Excel converts numbers into text
strings using format codes. It can
be useful for making data easier to
read and organize, or for
combining numbers with text or
symbols.

▪To use the TEXT function, you


can:

▪ Charts and Graphs are visual representations of data in Excel. They can include
bar charts, line charts, pie charts, scatter plots, etc., and can be used to better
understand and present data

▪ Area charts: Use both lines and filled areas to convey information

▪ Bar graphs: Use bars to represent data

▪ Select a range of cells, then click the arrow next to Conditional Formatting on the Home tab. Click New Rule to add a new conditional
format.

▪ Edit a conditional format

▪ Select the rule you want to change, then click Edit Rule. You can change the comparison operators, thresholds, colors, and icons.

▪ Use a formula

▪ You can use a formula to determine which cells to format. For example, you can use a formula to format cells that contain a specific text.

▪ Use top/bottom rules

▪ This style automatically identifies the top or bottom values in a range of data. You can adjust the number of values to show.

▪ Manage rules

▪ You can use Manage Rules to edit or delete individual rules

Pivot table

▪ A PivotTable in Excel is a table that summarizes data from a larger table by grouping
values into categories. You can use PivotTables to analyze, explore, and present
data. Here's how to create a PivotTable in Excel:

▪ Select the cells you want to use for the PivotTable. The data should be organized in
columns with a single header row.

▪ Select Insert > PivotTable.

▪ Choose where to place the PivotTable. You can either create a new worksheet or
place it in an existing worksheet.

documents
