Rule Set

Rule Set is like a container of Rules which can be used for the purpose of Versioning the rules.

Rule Set will be associated with Rules and Versions.

When we create new application Rule Sets are been created.

Initial version of Any rule set is 01-01-01.

Rule set version increment Order.

Example Rule Set Version is 01-05-09

Here

01  Major Version

05  Minor Version

09  Patch Version.

While creating rule it self we can choose to keep the rule in rule set and respective version

Each application have it’s own rule sets defined in ap rule form

Each rule set will have different versions.

Check in And Check Out :-

This Feature can be applied at rule Set Level.

When a Rule is in Check in Mode , It is Read only. Any Operator wants to update the rule, he must
have to check our the rule.

When Check out operator should be able to make the modifications and save it back.

During a rule is check out by Operator 1, simultaneously if Operator 2 tries to check the rule PRPC
will display a message saying check out not possible.
After Operator completes his work, rule must be check in in order this to be check out by Other
Operators.

Click on check
Done.

How to prevent accessing a rule set version.

A rule set version can be locked with a password.

Locked rule set version will not available for development.

If a rule set version is locked , developers cannot create, modify or delete the rules from that
version.
